Andy Cohen blasts Sarah Michelle Gellar for calling RHOBH ‘boring’ and ‘slow’ in HIS studio

Andy Cohen, the executive producer of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, publicly criticized Sarah Michelle Gellar for speaking negatively about his show, and he did so from within the Radio Andy studios at SiriusXM in New York City’s Rockefeller Center.

I was honestly shocked when I heard Sarah Michelle Gellar’s response to a question about the latest season of Buffy! It all started on March 18th when Page Six Radio asked her if she was enjoying season 15, and she just…scoffed and said, ‘No. I think it’s boring.’ As a longtime fan, it was a pretty bold statement, and definitely not what I was expecting!

When Gellar spoke frankly, co-hosts Evan Murray-Real and Danny Murphy were clearly surprised. She quickly steered the conversation to what she enjoyed, saying, ‘I really like the cast, especially Rachel [Zoe]. I think she’s fantastic.’

I’m a huge fan of Bozoma Saint John, but I especially love Kathy and Jen! I’m hoping they’ll get their own spin-off show – a Jen Tilly and Kathy Hilton show would be amazing!

‘But it’s slow,’ the Star Search judge said. ‘It’s just picking up now.’

When asked about Amanda Frances, Gellar was brutally honest. She didn’t believe Frances was divisive, simply that people didn’t seem to like her.

Cohen was shocked and felt betrayed when he saw the clip, especially since he’d interviewed the Emmy winner earlier that day in the very same studio.

During a recent appearance on Andy Cohen Live, the 57-year-old Emmy winner described how a clip from their studio ended up online with a headline claiming Sarah Michelle Gellar dislikes The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The clip also prominently featured branding for Radio Andy.

I told her, “Look, don’t invite people into my workspace to ruin what I’m doing. Let’s just lock up when I’m done, okay? And maybe don’t advertise everywhere on social media that ‘Andy’ is behind SMG.” She’s completely mistaken, by the way.

Gellar seemed happy while being interviewed by Cohen on his Bravo talk show, Watch What Happens Live, on March 17th, along with Dorit Kemsley from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The interview actually aired a few days later, on March 20th.

Samara Weaving, known for her roles in horror films, has been busy promoting her new movie, Ready or Not 2: Here I Come. The action-horror comedy opens in US cinemas this Friday and in the UK on April 10th. She plays the character Ursula Danforth in the film, directed by Tyler Gillett and Matt Bettinelli-Olpin.

In addition to her work on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she also executive produces The Real Housewives franchises in Salt Lake City, Potomac, Orange County, Miami, London, and Atlanta, plus The Real Housewives Ultimate Road Trip.

Cohen has two young children: a seven-year-old son named Benjamin Allen and a daughter, Lucy Eve, who is almost four. Both were born through gestational surrogacy.

The presenter, originally from Missouri, apparently has two frozen embryos stored, with the intention that they could be used by his children if they ever want to have siblings of their own.
