Walking side by side, radiating joy, ex-England football player Andy Carroll and his partner Lou Teasdale appeared exceptionally affectionate at a recent awards ceremony.
Mingling with stars like Katie Price’s daughter, Princess Andre, and TV personality Liberty Poole from Love Island, the duo happily took photos together at the Superdrug Stars beauty event in London’s The Dilly.
For Andy, 36, and Lou, 41, this relationship wasn’t the usual picture of harmony. In fact, it has been revealed that they’ve broken up twice in recent weeks due to a series of disagreements, with their first split following an intense argument at Glastonbury in June. This was followed by Andy being questioned by authorities in Mykonos over some heated arguments, but he wasn’t arrested and no further action was taken.
When I spoke with Lou’s friends, they shared their excitement about the end of his romance. It seemed they didn’t care much for Andy, as they mentioned that Lou, who abstains from alcohol, often faced difficulties due to Andy’s drinking habit.
Initially, it was believed that Lou, previously a hairstylist for the disbanded boy band One Direction, had ended things with Andy. However, unexpectedly, just a few days later, Andy and Lou were back in each other’s company. Intriguingly, Andy took her to Ibiza on a ‘make or break’ trip.
After their holiday, it appears that the couple split up again, yet they’ve reconciled this time and seem to be staying together permanently.
It seems that several people in Lou’s group found it perplexing as to why she would reconcile with Andy, who is known for his wild party lifestyle. Notably, he hasn’t yet completed his separation from his ex-wife, Billi Mucklow, and they share three children together.
During his bachelor party in Dubai in May 2022, just prior to marrying Billi, pictures surfaced of him appearing unconscious sandwiched between two blondes. Despite this incident, their wedding still took place once Billi granted her forgiveness to Andy.
The situation raises an intriguing point: why is it that multi-millionaire Lou, a well-regarded entrepreneur, hasn’t outpaced him in terms of success and recognition?
According to a reliable source close to her stylist, it seems Lou is deeply enamored with Andy and finds it hard to let him go.
In contrast to assumptions that might suggest she holds the upper hand due to her wealth and successful career, whereas he seems less accomplished – surprisingly, it’s actually him who commands the power in their relationship.
If he simply snaps his fingers, she promptly returns. She seems unable to stray from him. Her affection for him runs incredibly deep; she’s utterly smitten.

As an ardent fan, I can’t help but reminisce about the glory days of Andy, a former shining beacon in the English football scene. Back then, he graced the turf for Premier League heavyweights Newcastle United. Yet, time has taken its toll, and today, he finds himself playing for Dagenham and Redbridge in the National League South – a far cry from his past glory. The wealth he once enjoyed no longer defines him as it once did.
He’s also faced legal issues, notably a physical altercation caught on camera last July, which occurred after a meal at the high-end restaurant Sexy Fish in Mayfair, London with his former partner Billi. Previously, in 2012, he was involved in a heated confrontation with a photographer and had been arrested, fined for assault two years prior, outside of a nightclub in Newcastle.
In addition, Lou is the proud owner of a beautiful residence in Hackney, east London, due to the earnings from her business Tanologist, which she launched jointly with Lottie Tomlinson, the sister of One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson. Besides that, she generates income through her role as an influencer.
People who know Lou believe that her decision to reunite with Andy might be influenced by her complicated past in romantic relationships. In the past, she had been engaged to a famous rock singer named Tom Atkin, and they share a 14-year-old daughter, Lux.
A friend comments, “Given Lou’s history with men, expectations aren’t particularly high. Yet, she seems quite smitten by Andy, as if he’s her ideal man.
Lou’s close friends and relatives appear to be giving them space at the moment. It appears there is a recurring pattern: Lou causes distress, subsequently apologizes, performs extravagant gestures, and she reconciles. Regrettably, it seems this cycle may persist moving forward.
Although it’s unfortunate, the intense attraction between them seems unbreakable. No matter what actions he takes, it appears she won’t cease to love or desire being with him.
As a lifestyle expert, I’d share it this way: “I recently learned that Lou and I started dating back in September, after crossing paths at the 2024 Glastonbury Festival three months prior. A few weeks later, Andy disclosed some personal news-he and his longtime partner Billi had parted ways earlier in the year. They’ve initiated divorce proceedings, as he shared in a heartfelt statement.
As a devoted confidante, I can share that Andy and Lou swiftly declared their love for each other without delay. Meanwhile, it’s me who took care of Billi’s trio of children, along with Andy’s own two adolescent offspring from his past relationship.
In my own words, I find myself compelled to sell our spacious six-bedroom family home, a magnificent property we acquired from Sir Rod Stewart for £4.1 million in 2019, as it’s now up for sale on the market. Frequent patrons of our local pub, The Theydon Oak in Essex, have unfortunately found themselves caught in the midst of my personal struggles due to my sister-in-law Sam being a regular there too, during these difficult times following an unfortunate split.
According to those who know Lou, she’s quite charming and accomplished. She’s put in a tremendous amount of effort to achieve her success, and her intelligence and sharpness are truly impressive.

From my perspective as a lifestyle observer, there are whispers among those who know them well that it’s not entirely impossible to envision my dear friends, Lou and Andy, exchanging vows and starting this new chapter of their lives together, sooner rather than later.
‘One commented that Lou would be an ideal choice for a bride. Given how deeply in love she seems to be with Andy, it’s quite possible they could get married relatively soon.’
