Scott takes on the role of James Stagg, Britain’s top meteorologist. Anthony Maras, who also contributed to the screenplay with David Haig, is planning to commence filming of the movie “Pressure” in the UK come September.

Scott was recently nominated for an Emmy award in recognition of his acting skills portraying the cunning Tom Ripley in the Netflix series “Ripley,” which is based on Patricia Highsmith’s classic novel “The Talented Mr. Ripley” published in 1955.

I’m excited about the star-studded cast of the upcoming black-and-white noir limited series created by Steven Zaillian. I can’t wait to see Dakota Fanning in action, who’s also been nominated for an Emmy this September. Additionally, Johnny Flynn and Eliot Sumner are joining the lineup, making this production even more intriguing!
