Anastacia’s Colored Glasses Secret!
Anastacia has revealed the real reason that she always wears her trademark coloured glasses.
The 56-year-old singer is consistently spotted wearing eye-catching glasses, whether she’s engaged in a lively stage performance or not.
In a recent conversation, she discussed that the glasses she wears are specifically designed to correct her vision problems, a challenge she’s dealt with since her childhood.
Additionally, she shared stories about her friendship with her dear friend Elton John, who like her, prefers sunglasses with a tint.
In conversation with The Independent, she shared: “Elton John made me feel just as cool when I wore glasses as he does.
In a sad disclosure, Anastacia admitted that for photoshoots and music videos, she was often instructed by those in authority to remove her clothes.

She might say to photographers: “If you could remove your trousers without hesitation, that’s how comfortable I am. That’s how I feel.
I’d like to see your face as well; it’s important for me in this photoshoot that we both look at each other. If seeing my eyes doesn’t matter much, then perhaps we shouldn’t proceed with the shoot.
Following the previous month, viewers of Loose Women found themselves emotionally touched by Anastacia’s brief summary about her struggle with cancer following 16 operations.
In 2003, when she was 34 years old, the pop culture figure was initially diagnosed with breast cancer. Exactly ten years after that diagnosis, she faced it once more.
During a conversation with Christine Lampard, Brenda Edwards, Coleen Nolan, and Jane Moore, the topic of their health was brought up.
Anastacia stated: “The second time I received it, I opted for a mastectomy, which signifies it has been completely removed.
I faced an extremely challenging decision right from the start, and as soon as the surgery was over, I had no more concerns about it.
‘I did have 15 more surgeries after that surgery to get to where I was complete, but who cares?’
She poignantly signed off: ‘I won!’

After discovering a lump, Brenda was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer and subsequently underwent a mastectomy, as she openly acknowledged having the condition.
Nevertheless, the singer discovered her condition was unique; she was diagnosed with cancer during a breast reduction surgery.
Anastacia, whose real name is Anastacia Lyn Newkirk, admitted: “I felt overexposed, struggling with self-consciousness while singing and performing, constantly thinking ‘listen to my voice’, but then I’d switch gears to show off my abs as well. It felt like too much focus on me.
‘Eventually I had the money and I had six weeks off.
‘This is literally my headspace. Let’s get a breast reduction.
‘My friends were like, ‘everybody is getting them bigger… you’re getting them smaller.’
‘Look at the way the universe worked.
In my examination, I discovered some calcium deposits. Since the discovery was made at an early stage, chemotherapy wasn’t necessary. However, due to my youthfulness, I was unable to undergo the hormone therapy with Tamoxifen.
‘It was like a perfect storm. Then years later to that month it came back again.
‘I had already made that decision if I was lucky enough again to get it early, they’re going.
‘I know that’s a hard road to go down for a woman, I just wanted to win with cancer, and I won.’
Previously in our conversation, it was evident that Brenda is an ardent admirer of the singer, and together they sang ‘Left Outside Alone’.
And those watching at home were obsessed with the duo.
‘Brenda! Just blew her away and did the voice spot on lol ! Ha ha ace! #loosewomen
Another chimed in: ‘Brenda is a great singer #LooseWomen.’
In 2013 it was revealed that the star had undergone a double mastectomy.

She had to cancel her European tour at the time after finding out her diagnosis.
As October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, rolls around, I just can’t help but feel compelled to extend my wholehearted support to a cause that resonates deeply within me – the fight against breast cancer.
Earlier this year, I received a diagnosis of breast cancer for the second time. Currently, I’m in the late stages of healing following a double mastectomy procedure.
She expressed: “This trip has been quite challenging, yet I’m feeling fantastic and eager to embark on the upcoming phase.
During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, individuals battling breast cancer have the opportunity to find solace and solidarity with one another as they draw upon each other’s resilience and encouragement.
I’ve been fortunate enough to have early detection save my life on two occasions. Moving forward, I remain determined to keep fighting and use my voice wherever possible.
