Following a nail-biting ending in the previous film where the spy was resolved to locate the dangerous cyber weapon known as The Entity, he also discovered that his team had been deceived and his confidential information exposed.

The film, which has faced multiple delays, is finally due to hit cinemas on Friday, May 23 2025

Earlier today, a video surfaced where it appeared Tom seemed taken aback when asked about how he planned to celebrate Father’s Day.

At the Mission: Impossible premiere in New York City on Monday, the star casually replied that he was simply planning to enjoy himself when asked about his preferred Father’s Day activities.

As a E! News reporter approached him on the red carpet, it appeared as if he was caught off guard when he was inquired about his plans for Father’s Day: “With Father’s Day approaching, I can’t help but wonder, what would an ideal Father’s Day celebration look like to you?

He momentarily halted, then remarked, “You realize…”, but his words faded out, and he sighed while looking beyond, adding, “Just enjoying myself, buddy.

Instead of mentioning any of his children directly, the three-time father, during a recent interview, briefly discussed his romantic relationship with Ana de Armas and later steered the discussion towards his action movies.

‘Making movies, big adventures, having a great time,’ he added. 

He has long been estranged from his daughter, now 19, whom he shares with actress Katie Holmes. 

Reports indicate that Cruise has a close relationship with his daughters Isabella (currently 32) and Connor (30), whom he and his second spouse, Nicole Kidman, adopted during their marriage in the ’90s.

As a devoted follower, I find myself puzzled by a straightforward query regarding Father’s Day, yet the answer eludes him. Nowadays, he seems to dwell only on movies and his unyielding passion for them. Once, being a parent held great significance for him, Tom. It’s disheartening to witness this shift.
