An exploit in League of Legends makes the shopkeeper killable

For quite some time now, League of Legends has encountered its fair share of glitches and loopholes, but a fresh issue prevents the opposing team from purchasing items.

In the world of League of Legends, there’s been an issue cropping up similar to exploits seen in certain other games – a vulnerability that can be manipulated. Reminiscent of the times in Defense of the Ancients (DotA), it was feasible to demolish the enemy’s fountain.

As I dealt the final blows to my foes, it turned out that their inability to heal just rubbed salt into the wound. To make matters worse, the Primal Beast and IO’s annoying relocation feature had placed the Tormentor right in their fountain, causing a massive explosion that destroyed it. Talk about adding insult to injury!

As a dedicated gamer, I’ve found myself in a familiar predicament with League of Legends. It seems the shopkeeper has fallen victim to a fresh exploit, as pointed out by Vandiril.

League of Legends: the shopkeeper’s demise

As shown in the video posted by popular League of Legends bug investigator Vandiril, there’s a fresh exploit that enables players to annihilate their adversaries’ shopkeepers. This action prevents enemies from buying items unless they meet their demise; if they do, the exploit can be employed again. However, leaving base will result in having no shopkeeper and an excess of gold until you are defeated in combat.

In the spirit of responsible gaming, I’d strongly advise against attempting to replicate this particular exploit. Given that it necessitates an external scripting tool, it’s highly probable that doing so could lead to a permanent ban. Using such exploits or anything akin to them is generally discouraged and could result in serious consequences.

In the recently uploaded video, Vandiril notes that the individual hasn’t participated in a game since performing this action. Yet, it’s also possible that they established an account solely for activities similar to this one.

Funny glitches and amusing anomalies are common in video games, and there are always those who actively seek them out and bring attention to them. During its lifetime, League of Legends has seen some laugh-out-loud moments, but none have been as intriguing as this one. Here’s hoping Riot Games addresses it promptly, before players try to exploit it in ranked matches.
