Amy Schumer flaunts shrinking figure in skinny jeans at New York film premiere… after incredible 50lbs weight loss

Oh my gosh, I was completely floored when I saw Amy Schumer at the premiere of ‘Lorne’ in New York! She looked absolutely incredible – seriously, like, noticeably thinner than ever before. I couldn’t take my eyes off her, she was glowing!

The 44-year-old comedian, who has lost 50 pounds with the help of a weight-loss medication, showed off a pair of slim-fit blue jeans and a tight pink T-shirt at the red carpet event.

She layered up with a cropped pink sweater and slipped her feet into a pair of pink sandals.

Schumer styled her blonde hair with the top half pulled back, leaving the rest down, and opted for a fresh, natural makeup look.

After finishing her individual photos, Schumer took pictures with her Life & Beth co-star Kevin Kane, 49. They had worked together before on Schumer’s show, Inside Amy Schumer.

Okay, so you have to hear about this! There’s a documentary coming out about Lorne Michaels – the Lorne Michaels, the genius behind Saturday Night Live! And it’s being directed by Morgan Neville, who already has an Oscar, so you just know it’s going to be amazing. I’m seriously counting down the days – it’s all about the man who basically is comedy!

The movie will be in theaters on April 17th and includes interviews with famous Saturday Night Live cast members such as Tina Fey and Mike Myers.

Senator Schumer has publicly discussed her significant weight loss journey, sharing last year that a particular weight loss medication helped her achieve results after she had previously tried Ozempic.

In March 2025, she shared on social media that she’s had a good experience using Mounjaro to manage both diabetes and weight loss.

She praised the brand, adding that it worked for her better than its competitor Wegovy.

Schumer had previously revealed that Ozempic did not agree with her.

She shared online that she tried Wegovy three years ago, but it made her feel very sick and she couldn’t continue using it. She’s not sure if the medication has been changed since then.

She excitedly shared that she’s noticed positive changes, including thicker hair, improved skin, and increased energy levels. She also alluded to a boost in her sex life, attributing these improvements to Mounjaro, which she described as ‘great’.

Amy Schumer has noticeably lost weight following her announcement in December 2025 that she and her husband, Chris Fischer, were separating. She officially filed for divorce in January.

According to Schumer, despite being exes, they still care deeply for each other. They share a son named Gene, who will be seven years old in May.

Schumer wasn’t the only famous comedian or Hollywood legend on hand for Thursday’s premiere.

Natasha Lyonne, known for her role in Orange Is The New Black, wore a striking black velvet dress on the red carpet shortly after reports surfaced that she’d been taken off a Delta Airlines flight.

According to Page Six, actress Natasha Lyonne was removed from a flight heading to New York City because she didn’t follow directions from the flight attendants.

She was supposed to be on The Drew Barrymore Show the next day, which films in New York City, but she didn’t show up.

The 47-year-old actress from Orange Is The New Black spoke about the recent controversy on Twitter, first praising what she thought were ‘unpaid TSA agents’ and then expressing her apologies for not being able to attend Drew Barrymore’s show.

In a recent tweet, actress Natasha Lyonne expressed support for TSA workers who haven’t been paid. She also mentioned she was disappointed a planned honest conversation with Drew Barrymore didn’t happen.

Even with rumors of conflict, Lyonne appeared relaxed and comfortable while posing for pictures before going inside Alice Tully Hall for a movie screening.

The actress, a familiar face from Saturday Night Live for the past seven years, completed her look with a red woven purse and loose, wavy hair.

Kenan Thompson, known for his work on Saturday Night Live, looked sharp in a cream cardigan with color-blocked detailing. He completed the look with silver chain necklaces and dark brown pants.

Fineman and Thompson took pictures with Lorne Michaels and SNL’s new cast member, Marcello Hernández.

Colin Jost, one of the hosts of Weekend Update, was also at the event and appeared in a photo with Fineman and Lorne Michaels.

Michaels suited up for the occasion in a navy blue blazer, slacks and a pale blue button-up shirt. 

David Letterman, the famous late-night host, showed up at the premiere with his wife, Regina Lasko, sporting a full white beard and a newsboy cap.

Phoebe Robinson, known for her role on 2 Dope Queens, showed off her fit physique wearing a black crop top and leopard-print pants.

Anna Wintour, the editor-in-chief of Vogue, turned heads with her stylish outfit: a green leather jacket featuring a black fur collar paired with a flowing white skirt.

Diane Lane looked radiant and youthful in a flattering black top paired with a colorful, floor-length floral skirt featuring purple, red, and orange hues.

Steve Buscemi, 68, and his wife, Karen Ho, made a rare red carpet appearance. Buscemi stayed warm in a traditional black peacoat.

Girls star Jemima Kirke showed off her wild side in a low-cut green leopard-print jumpsuit.

David Krumholtz, known for his role on the show Numb3rs, was spotted at the event wearing a red leather jacket and a brown plaid cap.
