Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes attended iHeartRadio’s Jingle Ball 2025 twice, just three months after getting engaged.

I was absolutely floored when I found out about them! It was all over the Daily Mail in 2022 – a full-blown affair, and they were both married to other people at the time! I couldn’t believe it. I’ve been following their every move since, honestly.

Despite a major scandal, their relationship survived, and they announced their engagement this October, revealing they’d gotten engaged a month earlier.

Amy Robach, 52, prominently displayed her large ring – a striking gold gem encircled by diamonds – while posing with 48-year-old T.J. Holmes at two separate Jingle Ball events.

Having just finished the event in Los Angeles at the Intuit Dome last week, they traveled across the country to host it again this week at Madison Square Garden.

I always say, a little touch can say so much! At a recent New York event, I noticed how beautifully Robach connected with Holmes – she gently placed her hand on his chest, and it really highlighted her stunning ring. It was a sweet, intimate moment and a perfect example of how nonverbal cues can speak volumes.

She styled her blonde hair and used makeup to enhance her radiant skin, smiling brightly with her soon-to-be third husband.

Holmes, a twice-married man himself, looked sharp in a tan velvet blazer paired with a black shirt, tie, and trousers.

Oh my gosh, at the LA event, Amy Robach just stole the show! She wore this incredible electric green dress – seriously, the color was amazing – and it was fitted perfectly to show off how unbelievably fit she is. I mean, she looks fantastic, and that dress just highlighted everything! I couldn’t take my eyes off her.

She posed for the photographers with a hand on her hip, making sure her engagement ring was clearly visible.

Holmes, in contrast, was smartly dressed in checked trousers and a black jacket, paired with a white shirt and a bright red tie.

They announced their engagement on an October episode of their podcast, Amy and TJ.

Robach announced that she and her partner are engaged and have been for about a month.

Holmes explained they wanted to share the news directly, having learned from past experiences that it’s best to announce things about their relationship themselves.

They named the episode of the podcast ‘Robach-Holmes,’ an ode to their new last names. 

During the podcast, Holmes mentioned that Robach had been seen wearing her engagement ring, but somehow the news hadn’t gotten out.

Robach explained that she attended three large football games in a row, happily showing off her engagement ring, and was surprised that no one commented on it or asked about it. She’d been hoping someone would notice!

‘We haven’t been keeping it a secret, but nobody asked!’ Holmes shared. 

In 2022, the Daily Mail reported that the two individuals were having an affair, even though they were both still married to other people.

Exclusive photos obtained by DailyMail.com reveal a blossoming romance between the pair. The pictures show them enjoying flirty drinks at a New York City bar, spending private time at each other’s homes, and even taking a romantic weekend getaway to a secluded cottage in Upstate New York just two weeks before Thanksgiving.

Just one day before a widely publicized weekend trip, the couple was seen at O’Donoghue’s bar in Times Square, a few hours after finishing up their daily show recording.

‘They were totally into each other,’ an eyewitness told DailyMail.com at the time. 

Oh my gosh, you would NOT believe it. She was just completely captivated by everything he said, seriously giggling like a little girl. And they were sharing phones, looking at something together – I wish I knew what! Then, the cutest thing happened, she started kind of dancing in her seat to the music, and she was laughing SO hard, she almost fell right into his lap! It was…it was perfect. I swear, they have this incredible connection, it’s like no one else exists when they’re together.

The next day, Holmes was spotted leaving his home with a backpack and a duffle bag. He then went to a restaurant in the West Village, close to where Robach lived, after finishing a morning photoshoot.

Just a few minutes later, I saw him round the corner and walk up the street. Robach was already there, top down in her BMW, ready to go. It was a pretty classic scene, honestly – sunshine, a cool car, and a quick getaway!

The couple drove two hours north of the city to the Shawangunk Mountains and settled into a secluded cottage for the weekend.

Once their relationship became public, both individuals lost their jobs at ABC and subsequently filed for divorce from their spouses.

Amy Robach married Andrew Shue, known from Melrose Place, in February 2009, and Holmes married Marilee Fiebig in 2010. Both marriages have since ended in divorce.

Oh my gosh, I noticed them connecting right away when they both started working at ABC! But when they became co-hosts on GMA3 in 2020, it was like electricity. You could just feel the chemistry between them immediately, it was so obvious!

They frequently shared laughs, traded witty remarks, and playfully teased each other, quickly becoming one of ABC’s favorite on-screen pairings.

At first, their playful banter and kind words seemed harmless, especially considering they were both happily married and very committed to their spouses.

Amy once described T.J. as being like a brother to her, so fans were shocked to learn in late 2022 that they had secretly been in a romantic relationship.

Even though they were facing a major scandal, the couple made a very public show of being together, seemingly flaunting their relationship while their pasts – including their previous marriages and careers – fell apart.

Now that they didn’t have to keep their relationship secret, they openly showed their affection for each other, traveling the world and enjoying luxurious vacations together.

In November 2023, they revealed they were starting a podcast together, playfully announcing the news on social media with a post saying, ‘How’s this for Instagram official?’ and the hashtag ‘#SilentNoMore’.

In the first episode, which aired a month later, T.J. and Amy discussed the dramatic scandal. T.J. emphasized that they had already started the process of getting divorced from their previous partners before their relationship began.

Following the respective divorces, Andrew entered a love affair with Marilee.

They’ve been together for a while now, and people close to them say their relationship is genuine.

Since starting their joint podcast, they’ve opened up a lot about their relationship.

On a June 2nd show, Robach shared with her audience that she had reached a low point in her life, while they were welcoming singer Rachel Platten as a guest.

Holmes mentioned they went to a Platten concert the night before, and Robach was visibly emotional, wiping away tears.

Robach enthusiastically praised the musician, then explained how Rachel Platten’s 2015 song ‘Fight Song’ had deeply moved her.

Robach shared that she’s experienced difficult times and overcome them. She explained that she thought she’d reached her lowest point in the past, but this time truly felt like hitting rock bottom.

She said the song felt like her personal theme tune after she and her partner were unexpectedly let go from the morning show.

Holmes, meanwhile, characterized the process of letting go as ‘weird’ but ‘freeing.’

He explained the experience, while difficult – even more than he expected – was essential for discovering his true path and purpose.
