A confidant shared with The Sun, “It was evident that Amy was deeply troubled. Those close to her were equally distressed since they felt powerless to help.

Amy has so far not posted on social media since Saturday night.

On Sunday’s show, viewers noticed that JB was alone, but he also shared with the host Claudia that ‘Amy will undoubtedly be thrilled knowing we’ve made it to the Icon’s week.’
On Sunday, an official from the East of England Ambulance Service shared that they received a call around 9 PM the previous day (Saturday), asking them to respond to a medical emergency happening at Elstree Studios in Borehamwood.
‘An ambulance was sent to the scene. One patient, an adult female, was transported to Barnet Hospital for further care.’
A short while ago, the dancer and her famous companion, JB Gill from JLS, danced the Foxtrot to the song “Dancing In The Moonlight” by Toploader.
But fans noted the dancer was partially seated during her latest performance.
As an over-the-moon admirer, I can’t contain my excitement when I say that the duo soared to the fifth spot on the Strictly leaderboard! The judges – Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel-Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, and Anton Du Beke – showered them with a combined score of 32 points. What a performance! In 2023, following their honeymoon with dancer spouse Ben Jones, her life was dramatically altered when she received a cancer diagnosis just the next day.
Amy had found a lump in her breast the day before she flew to the Maldives.
Initially, she had pinned her hopes on surgery as a potential cure. However, two months down the line, in June, physicians discovered a different form of cancer instead.
Despite not receiving a clean bill of health for another five years and continuing with treatment, she expressed gratitude towards her loved ones for their unwavering support during what proved to be the most challenging year of her life.
Posting an exhilarating photo on Instagram, she excitedly announced: “No Sign of Illness Found! Long-awaited words! My most significant achievement to date!
For the next five years, I won’t receive a clean bill of health, given my experience with hormone-fueled cancer. However, every hardship has been worthwhile. Hearing those words I once considered unattainable is truly rewarding.
‘So grateful for all the care I received and continue to have.
‘To my husband, family and friends who supported me unconditionally and to you guys! Thank you!’
She continued: ‘I will still need a monthly injection for 5 years and regular check ups.
Over the last year, especially with chemotherapy, I’ve definitely felt the strain on my body – physically and emotionally. So, I plan to spend the upcoming months focusing on healing and restoration.
I’m brimming with aspirations and eager to make the most of this opportunity, as not everyone is given a second chance at life. My perspective on life has undeniably shifted, and it has left an indelible mark on me.
In a recent disclosure, Dragon’s Den celebrity Sara Davies (who also appeared on Strictly Come Dancing in 2021) shared that she had to persuade her friend Amy to proceed with the suggested treatment as Amy was apprehensive due to fearing it might jeopardize her career on Strictly.
Businesswoman Sara explained that Amy was naturally inclined towards dancing since childhood, and the idea of pausing to focus on her health made her uneasy.
In my capacity as a lifestyle expert, I shared during an episode of Invite Only that I devoted considerable time to be by her side at the onset of her cancer diagnosis. At that point, she wasn’t radiating optimism. Life had dealt her a challenging hand, and she was wrestling with it.
At that moment, I realized I had to play the role of a supportive friend, refilling her emotional reserves. However, if you’re seeking comfort, someone to offer a reassuring hug and words of encouragement, I might not be the best choice.
I initiated the conversation, saying something like ‘Let’s discuss our plan, Amy’, and encouraged her to tackle tough decisions, as she was uncertain whether or not she would undergo chemotherapy, which led to a discussion on the topic.
She added: ‘What I’ve realised with the dancers is that from being little, they are hardwired to dance. And the biggest blow for her was, ‘If I don’t go down that route, I won’t be able to do Strictly this year’.
I needed to face Amy directly and tell her, “Amy, it appears you have cancer. They’ve surgically removed your breast, and they recommend chemotherapy for recovery. Please don’t concern yourself with dance or Strictly right now.
Her reaction was, “However, there’s a chance they might not invite me back next season.” To which I replied, “Amy, with your exceptional skills and the affection people have for you, it’s absolutely certain they will want you back. You need to take care of yourself. It’s crucial, please do so.
After that, she appeared on the program without her wig too. It was an extraordinary instance. When I beheld her, I shed tears.
