On Tuesday, Amy Dowden presented an extraordinary appearance on her Instagram Stories while enjoying her vacation in Dubai.

34-year-old professional dancer from Strictly Come Dancing posted a video showing off her stunning look in a petite white bikini adorned with vibrant floral patterns of green, yellow, and pink.

The stunning two-piece featured tie-up straps and showed off her toned and tanned figure.

In the video, she gathered her shiny hair into a bun and donned fashionable shades to protect her eyes.

As a captivated admirer, I couldn’t help but gasp as she snapped her fingers, and instantly, the scene leapt forward, revealing her radiantly dressed in a breathtaking beach outfit that matched the pattern perfectly.

A week ago, Amy posted a hospital photo as part of her most recent health update, following the news that she was cancer-free last year.

In May 2023, the dancer received a diagnosis of breast cancer and subsequently undertook chemotherapy treatment along with a mastectomy procedure.

Following her wonderful announcement of being cancer-free in February 2024, Amy came back to the most popular television show in September, as she had been self-imposing a significant amount of ‘stress’ throughout her struggle with illness.

In her recent Instagram post, the courageous individual battling breast cancer posted a picture taken during her latest examination, weeks after expressing that she feels more robust than ever.

Dressed in a hospital gown, Amy took mirror selfie while posing with her fingers crossed.

She captioned the post: ‘Scan 1 done, now my MRI,’ along with nine ‘fingers-crossed’ emojis.

After getting the green light, Amy consistently utilizes her Instagram account (which boasts over 700,000 followers) to advocate for cancer awareness and share updates on her own health checks.

On Sunday, the Welsh dancer announced that she had successfully collected an impressive £53,000 for charities focusing on breast cancer, namely Cop a Feel and Breast Cancer Now, following her fundraising initiative towards the end of 2024.

As Amy beamed brightly under the sunlight for her Instagram shot, she also clutched the T-shirts that were being sold as part of the campaign.

She titled her touching message: “A HUGE THANK YOU! The tickled pink campaign in September and October collectively managed to donate a whopping 53,000 pounds to both @coppafeel and @breastcancernow.

I’d like to express my heartfelt appreciation to all of you who purchased a t-shirt and backed our campaign, and not forgetting our partners @asda and @georgeatasda. Let’s keep the momentum going with #thankyou!

In September 2024, Amy came back to Strictly alongside JLS member JB Gill. However, during the sixth week, she had to step away because of an injury in her foot.

The dancer has recently shared that she had been pushing herself hard to come back, but only now acknowledges that she hasn’t fully processed and accepted all the changes following her cancer therapy.

After undergoing cancer treatment, the dancer is now admitting that she didn’t fully accept everything that came with it, as she had been pushing herself to get back on stage prematurely.

In an interview with The Mirror, she shared: “Last year, I experienced a mix of intense emotions, excitement, but also self-imposed stress.

Deep down, I wasn’t fully convinced about myself, and I believe I was still grappling with acceptance. It’s evident now, as my hair grows back, that there’s been a noticeable change in me.

Back then, Amy was anxiously anticipating the news if she would appear in the 2025 edition of Strictly Come Dancing, set to air in the fall.

Early in April, it was officially announced that Amy would be coming back yet again. On Instagram, the dancer expressed her gratitude for having been given this chance.

‘So grateful to be back on the best show on TV for my 9th year with my strictly family,’ she wrote.

This program holds immense significance for me; it’s been a constant companion during both my happiest moments and darkest struggles, offering solace and strength when I needed it most.

This spectacle is nothing short of enchanting and nourishing for one’s spirit. I feel more robust than ever before. As the clock ticks, I eagerly anticipate returning to the rehearsal space with my Strictly family. Who else can’t wait? Let’s keep moving to the rhythm!
