Amy Adams’ new movie Nightbitch confirms Disney+ release date
Amy Adams’ new movie Nightbitch has confirmed its release date for Disney+.
After its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival and American theater release, the movie is scheduled to become accessible for movie enthusiasts in the United Kingdom and Ireland starting from the 24th of January.
The movie centers around a woman who temporarily halted her art career to focus on being a homemaker, leading her to harbor feelings of bitterness. To keep things intriguing without giving too much away, let’s say the plot takes some quite unusual turns.
The movie also includes Adams, who starred in Man of Steel and Arrival, alongside Scoot McNairy (from Speak No Evil), Zoë Chao (Strangers), Mary Holland (known for Maggie Moore(s)), Ella Thomas (of 9-1-1), and Jessica Harper (famous for Suspiria).
In an interview with Digital Spy last November for the movie promotion, Adams expressed that the film’s focus on motherhood would resonate in a unique and unparalleled manner compared to most other movies.
She remarked, “It seems they find a sense of recognition, as if it mirrors an often unspoken or overlooked experience.
It’s heartening to know that many people can relate to their internal struggles and complexities, which are often unspoken, making this connection quite pleasant.
When my character opened up about her emotions towards her husband, sharing their journey together, I found myself resonating strongly with the situation, too.
Discussing the broader aspect of parenthood and the emotions stirred by the sense of lost identity – I’m aware of this intense anger you might feel towards your spouse. However, let me clarify, my partner is truly wonderful, but I understand these feelings can arise nonetheless.
She also spoke to us about what it was like working with so many dogs on the set.
After wrapping up her role in “Nightbitch”, Adams will be stepping into her next starring film, the true-to-life comedy titled “Lazy Susans”. Interestingly, she’s not just acting but also producing this project as well.
