The role of the Investigator within the game is that of a team member, and it’s the first to possess two distinct abilities. You can locate the last position of a deceased crewmate and review a list of potential suspects. Furthermore, you have the ability to identify the Imposter you are pursuing. To maintain fairness, this role can only pursue one investigation at a time, although settings allow for adjustments in the number of interrogations available.

On the villain’s part, Viper allows you to dissolve your targets with acid. You can use Sabotage as a diversion to distract the crew while you unleash this ability. The elimination is accompanied by a unique animation, where the body decomposes in three phases, and you have the option to adjust the speed in advanced game settings.
