As an ardent fan who has followed Amir Khan’s career since his glorious Olympic days, I must say that this latest chapter of his life story is as captivating as any title fight. The man, once a golden boy of British boxing, now venturing into the world of hospitality and real estate, is a testament to the versatility and ambition of modern-day celebrities.

On Sunday evening, Amir Khan and his wife Faryal Makhdoom enjoyed a meal at the King’s Castle launch event.

The smitten pair appeared more joyful than ever, beaming broadly, as they grandly entered the trendy restaurant, surrounded by famous faces.

Amir, aged 37, showed his satisfaction with the restaurant when he raised his thumb after enjoying a delicious sandwich.

As a lifestyle connoisseur, let me share my recent experience: I, being 32, turned heads with my radiant all-white outfit, accentuated by elegant silver stilettos, upon my arrival at the bustling fast-food eatery.

Former boxing champion Amir sported a stylish look in gray denim jeans and a black hoodie, complemented by Louis Vuitton sneakers.

Amir shares Lamaisah, 10, Alayna, six, and four-year-old Muhammad with his wife of 10 years.

The married couple split their time between Dubai, London and Khan’s native Bolton.

After admitting that he was selling his £11.5 million luxury wedding venue, it became clear that Amir lacked the knowledge of how to manage it effectively.

Previously crowned light-welterweight boxing champion admitted that no substantial proposals have come up so far for the problematic Dubai-inspired structure, which conducted its inaugural wedding ceremony in May of this year.

He maintains that the business was bringing him a substantial income through rent, but recently, he has decided to transfer the property in Bolton to another person so he can concentrate on different ventures instead.

Earlier this year, Amir just unveiled the structure, showcasing its unique aspects like glass walls, a cascading waterfall, and lush palm trees within, for the first time.

Located adjacent to an auto repair and car cleaning facility in downtown Bolton, ‘The Balmayna’ once found itself encompassed by piles of debris such as discarded refrigerators, sofas, and unclean mattresses back in January.

Khan declared on X that he is offering the property for sale, highlighting its unique features such as four levels, with three floors specifically designed for weddings and a scenic rooftop event space.

The ex-Olympic silver medalist boxer from the 2004 games in Athens reached out, encouraging anyone with interest to contact him through an email.

In my own words, as a lifestyle advisor, I’d express it like this: “Having nurtured what I’ve created to maturity, I find myself drawn to new ventures. The allure of acquiring fresh experiences and diverse possessions beckons me. This is the next chapter in my journey.

As an over-the-top enthusiast, I’m utterly baffled about managing this wedding venue. It’s not a personal endeavor for me, but rather a business that requires someone else to take the reins and lease it on my behalf.

‘I’ve spent so much money on it but it’s not nice to not run it yourself. I really want to be hands on with this and I’m not. That’s the reason. I thought maybe I should start selling it and going to something else I can be busy with it. it’s just sat there and I’m collecting rent.’

Estimates suggest that Khan’s investment in the venue ranges between £5 million and £12.5 million, but he claims it generates income for him without requiring any active involvement.

Instead of selling, he maintains that it is unnecessary for him, refusing rumors that he’s financially struggling. However, he does admit that residing frequently in Dubai, with its expenses, has become quite costly.

Amir mentioned: ‘It’s quite beneficial, as you established it and receive decent returns, plus it’s profitable. However, if managing and being involved in the day-to-day operations isn’t an option or if you’re not part of its creation process – the effort, hard work, and emotional investment – then I believe it changes the experience.’

I’ve completed everything and it now looks stunning amidst all the weddings. It brings joy to countless individuals, spreading smiles far and wide.
