Tonight, we have a special event on our TV screens as the new season of “America’s Got Talent” kicks off. However, this isn’t just another season – it marks a significant comeback, with Mel B rejoining the judging panel after a long absence from Simon Cowell and Howie Mandel. But that’s not all! This season also marks the 20th anniversary of “AGT”, following Richard Goodall’s triumph in Season 19. So, let’s gather around for a live viewing experience, featuring Mel B’s return and the first golden buzzer press of the year!
Keep in mind that new entries will show up in reverse chronological order (from most recent to oldest) during the live broadcast of the episode. Once the live watch-along is over, the order will switch and you’ll see entries from oldest to most recent instead.
Everybody’s Nervous For 20 Years
As someone who appreciates films deeply, I must admit that even though none of us “judges” were present since the beginning and Terry Crews assumed hosting duties only in 2019, we still find ourselves filled with a sense of trepidation as we approach this momentous season.

This current season welcomes the comeback of Mel B, who last appeared as a regular judge during Season 13. She was a fixture on the panel, so with Heidi Klum, Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, and Sofia Vergara departing, I can’t think of a more fitting replacement.
