As a sports enthusiast and a fan of well-acted dramas, I’ve been hooked on “American Sports Story: Aaron Hernandez” from the get-go. The first two episodes were nothing short of brilliant, with their sharp writing and focused storytelling. However, like a beloved football that took an unexpected bounce, the series seemed to lose its grip on reality in episode 3.
Regardless of the fact that the American Sports Story: Aaron Hernandez may have blurred the lines between truth and drama, it’s hard to ignore the exceptional acting performances since its debut. In episode 9, Josh Andres Rivera, who plays Aaron, delivered a standout performance, leaving us eagerly anticipating his final act in the series finale.
Hey there fellow gamers, heads up! Before diving into our discussion about the thrilling finale of “Sports Story”, why not catch up by streaming all nine episodes on Hulu first? Trust me, you won’t want to miss a beat!
The sports drama titled “American Sports Story” began impressively. The first two episodes showcased sharp writing and a well-defined narrative, as I saw it. Regrettably, the third episode seemed to disappoint many viewers as the story became less engaging and dragged out. Over time, what appeared on screen seemed to be more fabrication than reality in the plot.
Although I continued to watch the series, it wasn’t until episode 9 that my patience paid off. This doesn’t mean the latest episode makes up for all the previous ones, but I did get a glimpse of the next-to-last chapter. You can find more about this in my review titled “What’s Left Behind.” Now, I’m eagerly awaiting the finale next week to see how everything unfolds. Of course, we all know Aaron’s fate, but I’m curious about the performances and any other changes that might occur. If you feel the same way, then the finale is just around the corner!

On Tuesday, November 12th, catch the final episode of “American Sports Story: Aaron Hernandez” on FX. In case you’re unable to watch it live or miss the broadcast, you can always stream the finale on Hulu starting from November 13th.
