American DJ Anyma apologises to fans after being forced to cancel Coachella set as festival releases statement

DJ Anyma’s Coachella set was cancelled due to high winds, festival bosses confirmed.

DJ Matteo Milleri had to apologize to his fans after his performance was canceled by event organizers, who announced the decision on their Instagram page on Friday.

Anyma won’t be able to perform tonight because strong winds are making it impossible to set up the stage properly.

It continued: ‘Coachella and Anyma have made this decision together your safety as the priority.’

Anyma addressed fans in the comments, saying they were very sorry but that safety had to come first. They explained they’d done everything possible to prepare the show, which had been a year in the making, and were now working to find a solution.

It’s unclear if his performance will happen at a later date, even though he’s scheduled to perform again on Saturday night.

Anyma was set to perform on the main stage around midnight on Friday, about 90 minutes after Sabrina Carpenter’s headlining performance.

His shows are like stepping into a completely digital world of art and music. Audiences aren’t just watching – they can actually engage with the sights and sounds around them.

He’s worked with many famous artists, such as Lisa from Blackpink, Lana Del Rey, and Ellie Goulding.

Anyma is one half of the electronic music duo Tale Of Us and has a significant social media following of 3.5 million on Instagram.

The Coachella music festival will return to Indio, California in 2026 for two weekends of music and arts.

Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber, and Karol G are headlining the highly anticipated event.

The lineup includes a diverse group of artists from different genres and generations, featuring names like Young Thug, Turnstile, David Byrne, FKA twigs, Addison Rae, and Ethel Cain.

Music legends Iggy Pop, Moby, and Devo joined the already full lineup, and Radiohead performed a special show called ‘The Bunker Debut of Kid A Mnesia.’

The xx and The Strokes are both making a comeback to the festival.

This year’s booking is a first for Justin Bieber at the festival – he’s never been an official performer before, although he’s made unannounced appearances during sets by artists like Ariana Grande, Daniel Caesar, Chance the Rapper, Tems, and Wizkid.

Justin Bieber last performed live at the 2026 Grammys on February 1st. Before that, he played a private concert at the Roxy Theatre on March 29th.

As a huge fan, it’s been so tough waiting! Justin hasn’t done a full, big tour since he unfortunately had to cancel his Justice World Tour because of Ramsay Hunt syndrome. I’m really hoping he feels better and gets back on stage soon.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m always fascinated by the details surrounding big events, and this one’s a doozy! I’ve learned the two-time Grammy winner received over $10 million for their performance at the Southern California festival. That makes them the highest-paid performer in the festival’s history, even beating out superstars like Beyoncé and Lady Gaga – talk about a power move!

According to a source who spoke with Rolling Stone, Justin Bieber negotiated his payment for performing at Coachella directly with the festival’s promoter, Goldenvoice, and didn’t use an agent in the process.

A source familiar with the artist—who has a one-year-old son, Jack, with his wife, model Hailey Bieber—described this as a significant, independent achievement for a leading performer.

With a headlining performance at Coachella and the popularity of his recent work, it’s obvious Justin is entering a really promising new chapter in his career, where he’s taking complete control.

Carpenter performed at Coachella in 2024, with her boyfriend at the time, Barry Keoghan, watching from the VIP area.

In a recent interview with Perfect magazine, she hinted that her upcoming Coachella performance will be her biggest and most elaborate show yet.

For Karol G, it’s a long-awaited return.

The Colombian singer first performed at Coachella in 2022. This year, she’ll be back with a headlining set featuring songs from her new album, Tropicoqueta, which came out in June.

The milestone makes her the first Latina artist to lead the iconic Coachella stage.

Prices for weekend passes at this year’s event ran from $549 to $1,299.

The headliners for last year’s Coachella were Lana Del Rey, Tyler, the Creator, and Doja Cat.
