Previously at Channel Seven, this individual – soon to share screen time with Denham Hitchcock on 10 NEWS+ – recently decided to speak up about their latest professional transition through social media platforms, on a Wednesday.
After spending 17 years at Channel 7, it’s now time for a fresh challenge. I’m thrilled to join forces with the 10 NEWS+ crew and bring something new and exciting! That was her message on her Instagram post.
The accompanying picture showed Amelia in a sleek all-white suit alongside her new co-host Denham.

Previously, Amelia, boasting a 15-year background in political journalism and international affairs, served as a senior reporter and foreign correspondent for the network Seven.
Last week, she grabbed attention when news broke that she’s switching sides to a competing network, launching a brand-new investigative program there instead.
On Wednesday, the long-awaited premium news show from Network 10, called 10 News+, was officially revealed and will debut on your screens on Monday, June 30th, starting at 6 pm.
10 News+ will air nationwide following Network 10’s 5pm local news updates, providing an in-depth look at significant events that have transpired during the day.


As reported by Paramount Australia, the segment’s objective is to reshape evening news with detailed analysis, reliable reporting, and in-depth investigative journalism.
To stay current with Australia’s ever-changing media landscape, our news program can be accessed through both traditional broadcast and online streaming, in addition to digital and social media platforms.
On Sundays through Thursdays, Denham and Amelia will be the recurring hosts for the evening news broadcast at 6 pm.
Ursula Heger and Hugh Riminton will take the lead during the Friday broadcast.
The core team will have the assistance of journalists such as Ashleigh Raper, Bill Hogan, Brianna Parkins, Samantha Butler, Carrie-Anne Greenbank, and Claudia Vrdoljak.
Angelica, our Entertainment Editor, will share her unique perspective on the most significant entertainment news, encompassing high-profile events like red carpet premieres and intimate conversations with A-list celebrities from Tinseltown.
