In the United States and the United Kingdom, “The Ambessa: Chosen of the Wolf” novel is now available for purchase, following its pre-order period which ended on February 18th. This announcement comes from Riot Games, makers of League of Legends and Arcane. Keep reading for more details about its release in other regions!

Ambessa: Chosen of the Wolf novel

In this novel penned by C.L. Clark, we follow the tale of Ambessa Medarda, set 10 years prior to the events in the Arcane series. Ambessa’s ambition is to ascend to the position of head of the Medarda family. However, she faces a power struggle against her cousin Ta’Fik for this title. Additionally, the story delves into Ambessa as a high-ranking warrior general within Noxia and as the mother of Mel.

During an interview with Xpsp, Clark expressed her views on the topic. She explained that she finds creating strong characters such as Ambessa intriguing, particularly when their strength conceals underlying weaknesses or vulnerabilities.

Clark found it incredibly satisfying to delve deeper into the past of such a strong and confident character as Ambessa, who appears in Seasons 1 and 2 of Arcane. This was particularly intriguing during Season 2, where she seemed invincible. In the book, I had an opportunity to strip away her armor and reveal the woman hidden beneath.

Ambessa novel release dates

Back when I was eagerly awaiting its arrival, this game dropped on my radar on Feb. 18. Fortunately for me gamers in the U.S. and U.K., it’s now up for grabs! For my Spanish-speaking friends, mark your calendars for March 20 with Penguin Random House releasing it. If you’re in Poland, Insignis has got you covered on March 26. Lastly, French gamers like myself can look forward to playing it from Sept. 4, thanks to Mana Books.

In an official statement, it was unveiled that “Ambessa: Chosen of the Wolf” will soon be released in Germany, Hungary, Italy, Turkey, and several other countries. Further details regarding additional territories and publication dates are yet to be disclosed.

Ambessa’s daughter, Mel, possesses an extraordinary ability to penetrate the emotional barriers surrounding anyone’s heart, a skill she intends to utilize for her mother. Even so, Ambessa perceives only a naive child within Mel who seems devoid of the ruthless instincts needed. Mel understands that she can become the leader Ambessa desires, if only Ambessa provides her with the chance.
