Amber Heard is showered with support from fans ahead of final performance in Spirit Of The People – after actress returned to acting following disastrous Johnny Depp trial

On Wednesday, Amber Heard posted a make-up free selfie on Instagram and received an outpouring of fan support before her last appearance in the play “Spirit Of The People” over the weekend.

After welcoming her twins in May, the actress, aged 39, created quite a stir as she resumed her acting career, not long after the high-profile defamation lawsuit involving her former spouse, Johnny Depp, had made headlines worldwide.

Following her return to center stage, Amber quickly secured the part of Genevieve within Jeremy O. Harris’ play.

Amber posted a rare snap on her social media to celebrate her success over the last month.

‘I’m fortunate to take my last gasp before this weekend’s concluding shows. This is your last opportunity to witness Spirit of the People at @wtfestival!’. The original sentence uses the term “stealing” which may not be familiar or comfortable for some, so I’ve replaced it with a synonym (“taking”) and added “final” to clarify that it refers to the performances.

Her fans expressed their support and love about her comeback in her comments section.

Some wrote: ‘Amber! We’re so proud of you!!!’,

Oh, I’d love to catch that performance of yours once more! You simply shone on stage 💕💕💕. Wishing you a fantastic final weekend at the festival!

‘getting to see you live was literally one of the best moments of my life, you’re amazing!!’

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I am delighted to report that she is not just surviving, but truly thriving. Her radiance continues to captivate all who behold her, and her skill in her chosen field is nothing short of masterful. May she continue to shine brighter with each passing day, growing ever stronger and more vibrant. ❤️

After a tranquil arrival of twins, Agnes and Ocean, two months later, the actress gracefully stepped back into acting, appearing in ‘Spirit Of The People’ at the Williamstown Theatre Festival in Massachusetts.

It also continues her gradual reemergence in the public eye following the legal battle with Depp.

In December 2022, the court case ended with a settlement following an intense six-week trial that attracted worldwide interest.

In the year 2023, Amber made an appearance in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, however, she’s mostly kept a low profile since moving to Spain, maintaining a rather private lifestyle.

Back in April 2021, Amber made an announcement about the arrival of her first child, Oonagh Paige. This little one came into the world through a surrogate. Amber has kept the identity of her children’s father private and mentioned earlier that she decided to become a mother according to her own choices.

Recently, the actress who played in The Rum Diary posted a picture taken backstage, captioned: ‘What a fantastic start to the weekends!’.

Additionally, she graced a seldom-seen public occasion, featuring in a Vogue photoshoot for the promotion of the Williamstown Theatre Festival. The images were captured by both Hunter Abrams and Sam Lee.

The shoot showed Amber outdoors, smiling in the woods alongside her castmates.

The Spirit of the People is one of the much-awaited shows for the 2025 festival season. This production features an impressive cast, including Brandon Flynn, Lío Mehiel, Ato Blankson-Wood, Zachary Booth, James Cusati-Moyer, Amandla Jahava, Emma Ramos, Julian Sanchez, and Tonatiuh. Katina Medina Mora is the director for this production.

In an interview, Harris (aged 36) stated, “Jason Grissom once quoted Williams as saying, ‘There’s enchantment in those woods,’ referring to the lush woods near Williamstown I’ve explored this summer. Indeed, he was correct: There is a charm to the chaos of creating theater here that has captivated everyone this summer.

He might be referring to the infectious vibe, akin to an exhilarating adult theater workshop. Or it could simply be the enthusiasm of numerous emerging theater artists, such as Katina [Medina Mora], Nicholas [Alexander Chavez], Whitney [Peak], Amber [Heard], and others, who have immersed themselves deeply in this field, not only keeping pace but surpassing some of their contemporaries.

‘Harris was deeply impressed by every person who gathered during the summer, and she hopes that encountering these remarkable, bold pieces of art – raw expressions of ambition – will spark some thoughts for you, as we all navigate this challenging period in American history together.’

Lately, Amber has been suggesting her part in the show’s making through Instagram posts, sharing sneak peeks of what goes on during rehearsals.

Just last month, she posted a photo with Harris, showing her bursting with joy while experiencing the enchantment of the stage and her fresh acting part.

‘In my theatre era x,’ the mother-of-three captioned the post.

On July 3rd, the artist shared a charming photo of herself casually positioned cross-legged on a stage, leafing through a script.

‘Work in progress,’ she wrote beneath the photo, which received more than 92,576 likes.
