Amazing Pokémon GO update gives new way to join friends Raids
As an avid Pokémon GO trainer who has spent countless hours wandering streets and parks, chasing after elusive creatures, this latest update is like finding a rare Shiny Mewtwo in my backyard! The ability to join friends‘ Raids directly from the Friends List is a game-changer. No more frantically scrolling through invites or waiting for that one friend who always seems to be late. Now, I can jump straight into the action and take on those mighty Raid bosses with ease.
You can now join Raids direct from your Friends list in Pokémon GO.
With the latest update, trainers in Pokémon GO can now participate in Raids with their friends directly from the Friends List, making it more convenient and eliminating the need for invites. This user-friendly improvement significantly enhances the ease of joining Raids.
The timing couldn’t be better for this latest update as it coincides with an action-packed Pokémon GO Raid weekend! This upcoming Saturday and Sunday marks the global Pokémon GO: Wild Area event. You can expect a variety of Pokémon in Raids, such as Origin Forme Dialga and Palkia, Primal Groudon and Kyogre.
Over the weekend, Niantic has lifted the distance restriction for Raids, enabling you to participate in any Raid battles with your friends!
You can now join your friends Raids via the Friends List in Pokémon GO
To utilize the latest feature, navigate to your Friends List within Pokémon GO. Here, you’ll find a fresh search category that puts those participating in Raids at the forefront of your list. By clicking on them, you can easily join their Raid, much like when you receive an invitation.
As a gamer, here’s how I’d put it: “I’ve got to have a Remote Raid Pass handy for this. Make sure you’ve got one in your stash and haven’t exhausted your daily limit of Remote Raids yet.
New feature will make filling lobbies easier
The main advantage of being able to join your friends Raids in Pokémon GO is how much easier it will be to fill up a lobby. Currently, through invites, you have to work out or remember which players do remote Raids. You can send invites that simply get ignored.
If your name falls towards the beginning of the alphabet, you may receive more invitations since the system organizes invitations alphabetically. However, now, regardless of where you are in the alphabet, you can easily join with your friends without requiring any invitation.
