Amanda Seyfried leaves Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager in hysterics after tucking into dog food cake
As a dedicated follower of these heartwarming moments, I must say that the antics between Hoda Kotb, Jenna Bush Hager, and Amanda Seyfried during Monday’s episode of Today with Hoda & Jenna were nothing short of delightful. The unexpected turn of events when Amanda decided to taste the dog-friendly cake brought on a burst of laughter that made my day brighter.
During the Monday broadcast of Today with Hoda & Jenna, Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager erupted in laughter over a humorous incident involving actress Amanda Seyfried. The amusement stemmed from an incident where Seyfried was taken aback after sampling a canine-friendly cake.
On NBC, Amanda, aged 38, made an appearance alongside her dog Finn, to publicize her collaboration with Synchrony’s CareCredit and Pets Best insurance. During the show, the hosting pair surprised Finn, their Australian Shepherd, with a cake to celebrate his 15th birthday.
Jenna, 42, queried the team about the dog’s temperament, to which Amanda humorously questioned if she could eat it. Hoda, 60, then intervened by suggesting they keep it for later and let her decide what to do with it, prompting Jenna to offer feeding it to her instead.
Mother-of-two suggested waiting, to which Amanda responded hurriedly, “He’s 15, he can decide for himself!” Hoda then questioned, “You really want me to set it aside?” But Jenna, feeling uncertain, interjected, “Are you absolutely sure? We don’t know about this!
Oh my, Amanda from Mamma Mia! swiftly dived in to sample a bit of that frosting with her finger and took a quick bite, leaving mother-of-three Jenna looking surprised and exclaiming, “Is that dog kibble you’re eating?

As I wrinkled my nose in distaste, I confessed with a shrug, “It just isn’t our style,” then promptly requested, “Could I have some water, please?” My words sparked laughter from Hoda and Jenna.
Earlier on in the interview, Amanda was keen to stress the importance of pet insurance and said: ‘I should have gotten it. Everybody I know nowadays has it because it’s so smart and the truth is, Finn’s been through a lot of health stuff.
It’s wonderful to have him with us. He’s endured numerous chemotherapy sessions, has a team of various specialists, accumulated substantial vet fees, and I consider myself fortunate to cover these costs, yet the experience has been quite taxing.
‘The bill comes, and most people just can’t fathom that bill or deal with it but you have to pay for it straight away. It’s simple, because it is traumatizing, pets are expensive,’ Amanda added.
In a recent conversation with People, Amanda spoke about her beloved dog Finn, affectionately calling him her “first-born.” She shared that Finn has significantly improved her life in numerous ways.
As a devoted pet lover, I can’t help but express how profoundly impactful our furry friends are in my life. They may not be able to speak or care for themselves, but they offer something priceless – purpose. Caring for them, ensuring their well-being, and witnessing their unconditional love, fills a void that words can’t describe. It’s a bond that transcends the ordinary, offering an emotional richness that surpasses anything I could ever give back to them.
Amanda Seyfried takes a seat to honor her beloved dog, Finn, on his 15th birthday and shares insights on the significance of pet insurance. Additionally, she touches upon potential plans for “Mamma Mia 3.

Without Finn by my side, I can only imagine how different my twenties might have been. It’s hard for me to picture it any other way. I wonder if I would have managed Hollywood as well as I did without him there to return to after long days. I believe he helped keep me out of trouble more than he knows.
While engaged in filming for the HBO show “Big Love,” this woman, who has two children, brought home a 15-year-old Australian Shepherd to join her family.
2019, when she had him for just a day, she shared with People that it was only then she discovered something within her required his presence.
‘He completely changed my life and helped me find my solitude and my independence.’
