Amanda Holden shares her contentious insights on relationships as she gears up for the debut of her upcoming Netflix series, titled “Cheat: Unfinished Business.

In this TV program, Amanda, who is 54 years old, along with relationship advisor Paul C. Brunson, aged 50, guide eight former couples as they strive to move on from their past and rekindle their relationships while residing at a lavish retreat in Mallorca.

Discussing insights gained from the program, Amanda shared that she had gleaned a helpful suggestion from Paul, which she intends to apply in her own marriage to Chris Hughes, whom she wedded in 2008.

The pair have two girls, Lexi, aged 19, and Hollie, 13, whom they frequently share adorable photos of on their social media accounts, as Amanda often posts pictures that show a strong resemblance between herself and her daughters.

Although Amanda’s devotion towards her children remains constant, she shared a lesson imparted by Paul: in a marriage, one should prioritize the partner over the children, with the kids taking the secondary position.

Reflecting on her conversation with TopMob, she pondered aloud, “That’s quite unexpected. I learned it from Paul, and it made me realize how important my spouse is.

she added: ‘It seems that everyone becomes engrossed in their kids, their routines, and the various issues that come up as children mature.’

‘But you have to remember that you and your husband were there together first. 

It’s crucial to nurture that relationship for the sake of both yourself and your children, ensuring it continues into the future. In other words, maintaining this bond is extremely significant.

‘It is very controversial, but it’s also supported by research.’ 

Later, I discovered Amanda’s playful secret to keeping her flame burning brightly with Chris – she confided that even after 17 years of marriage, he remains completely smitten with her derriere.

In a candid moment, Amanda disclosed this amusing detail: “My husband is a guitarist, and he’s become quite preoccupied with my backside. He even wrote an entire song dedicated to it!

‘I had my bum sculpted, he’s got it as a piece of art in his office!’

Amanda has previously married to comedian Les Dennis, 71. 

In 1995, they got married. At that time, she was 22 years old and he was 40. However, their marriage ended in 2003 after a well-known infidelity incident involving Amanda and actor Neil Morrissey, who was 62 at the time.

Les has since forgiven Amanda for her infidelity, saying that he is ‘happy that she’s happy’.

For the first time, the Heart Breakfast host is leading a dating program, having gained initial recognition as a contestant on Blind Date at the age of 19.

The mother of two expressed that she would be supportive if her daughters Lexi and Hollie decided to participate in a dating program, on the condition that it wasn’t Love Island. During filming, she was observed consoling one of the female contestants who was crying.

He expressed his eagerness to delve into the complex aspects of infidelity while collaborating with the contestants on Unfinished Business.
