Amanda Holden’s Brutal Dig at Holly Willoughby Live on Air Shocks Fans!

On-air, Amanda Holden made a sharp remark directed toward Holly Willoughby when she expressed her critique of her abilities.

On their Heart Breakfast radio program, as reported by The Mirror, the 54-year-old television host playfully criticized Holly’s presentation abilities during a conversation with her fellow presenter, Jamie Theakston.

It appeared that Amanda likened her Netflix dating series, Cheat: Unfinished Business, to Holly’s reality show, Celebrity Bear Hunt, both of which are streamed on the same platform.

Regarding rumors about their show potentially being renewed, Amanda mentioned that she’s come across indications saying it will happen, but she isn’t definitively certain yet.

In a playful manner, Jamie hinted, “I wonder if they’re thinking about bringing in Holly Willoughby instead of you,” which suggested a possible replacement of Amanda with another popular TV personality.

In a surprised manner, Amanda responded with, “I… what?”, followed promptly by, “No, they’re looking for a more polished host,” which seemed like a subtle critique of Holly’s abilities.

Later on, Jamie informed her that she might face consequences due to her comment, which led Amanda to respond, “Nobody’s paying attention.

Amanda and Holly are well-known figures on ITV, and they’ve both served as hosts for the morning television program “This Morning” in the past.

During a conversation with Ashley Roberts at that point, Amanda refuted the allegations about her being considered for the role, stating that it wasn’t true.

The TV personality added that she believes Cat is ‘going nowhere’.

She continued, “I’m currently appearing on the most popular national morning program, which is Heart Breakfast, all thanks to our wonderful audience.

‘So, I don’t know where it’s come from it is categorically not true.’

Ashley reaffirmed Amanda’s point, saying: ‘Not true, you heard it here!’

Instead, she’s traded ITV for the worldwide streaming platform, Netflix, and her latest series, titled “Cheat: Unfinished Business,” debuted on Netflix just a week ago.

The dating show follows eight ex-couples whose relationships were torn apart because of infidelity.

The speaker, who is married to Chris Hughes and has two daughters – Lexi, aged 19, and Hollie, aged 13 – expressed to TopMob that they have harbored a desire for quite some time to host a dating show.

She expressed that her ideal job is what she would have wished for, if such a thing were possible to materialize. This position has been her lifelong aspiration, and now, it seems like it’s becoming a reality for her.

The Heart Breakfast host added: ‘A series about second chances and unfinished business. 

I’m just as eager as Paul to participate in this opportunity where we’ll assist these couples in determining if they can forgive and move on. I’m positively ecstatic about being involved!
