Amanda Holden to Host New Traitors-Style Quiz Show on BBC One!
According to reports, the BBC is said to have recruited Amanda Holden as the presenter for a brand-new game show that resembles “Traitors,” following the final episode of the widely-watched reality program which attracted an impressive 7.4 million viewers.
On Saturdays, The Inner Circle, starring Amanda who’s 53 years old, is set to be hosted by her on BBC One, as reported by The Sun.
Much like The Traitors, this upcoming show promises an enticing blend of suspense, secrecy, and deceit, as participants engage in various tasks and competitions to accumulate a significant sum of money.
Instead, the total they eventually keep hinges solely on whom they can rely upon – and who could potentially disappoint them when it matters most.
According to a source from the TV industry, while this new show isn’t exactly like “The Traitors,” it does share many of its cunning aspects.
Amanda’s inaugural solo presenting job for the BBC will be signified by The Inner Circle, a recognition given after the acclaim of her joint home renovation series with Alan Carr.
Filming is reportedly set to begin this spring, with the show potentially airing later this year.
Participants will be put to the test on their general knowledge and strategic abilities. However, what makes it unique is that they need to join forces with others to claim the grand prize.
Yet, it remains uncertain if these alliances will prove reliable, or if they might betray each other instead.
To start, the program will include ordinary people, and it’s likely that a celebrity-focused edition will be introduced subsequently.

Over 7 million British viewers watched the final episode of The Traitors this past month, breaking previous records as it reached its thrilling conclusion.
In this live broadcast, approximately 7.4 million viewers tuned in to see project manager Jake Brown and Leanne Quigley emerge victorious. Their dedicated fan base cheered them on as they walked away with a grand prize of £94,600.
The series, shot at Ardross Castle close to Inverness, features participants trying to root out ‘betrayers’ or cunning rivals who aim to eliminate others unnoticed so they can win a prize of up to £120,000.
Instead of the traditional method used in the first two seasons, where players would disclose their loyalty (faithful or traitor) during the final episode, this time around such revelations were withheld. This twist created an undercurrent of suspense and heightened tension throughout the entire nail-biting finale.
The statistics provided only account for viewers who tuned in during the initial broadcast, excluding those who later watched it on BBC iPlayer.
Approximately 4.8 million people listened to a special edition of The Traitors: Unveiled discussion podcast, that aired simultaneously on BBC One television and the BBC Sounds app.
Approximately 5.5 million viewers tuned in last year to see Harry Clark, a British army engineer and turncoat, win a £95,150 prize. This was after he tricked his companion, Mollie Pearce, into thinking he supported her, but ultimately betrayed her trust.
