Amanda Holden Slams BBC Show’s ‘Urine Soaked Dressing Rooms’ in Travel Series with Alan Carr

On Friday, Amanda Holden playfully jabbed at her BBC-produced show, commenting on wet, urine-soaked dressing room floors.

The speaker, who is 54 years old, additionally voiced her disapproval towards the title of the series, its transportation arrangements, and proposed that her upcoming show with Alan Carr might be more suitable for streaming on Netflix instead.

The pair has just revealed that their newest BBC series will be called “Amanda and Alan’s Greek Adventure”, continuing their trend of home renovation shows set in Spain, Italy, and now Greece.

Amanda disclosed that she’s less enthusiastic about having to switch outfits on wet floors due to spilled urine, similar to her previous experience while filming with Alan overseas.

During their conversation about the show on his travel podcast, Alan reminisced, “Don’t you recall having to relieve ourselves behind trash cans and all that business? I can’t wait for it.

As a devoted follower, let me share my recollection: A stack of garments lies behind me. Among them are Alan’s shirts, approximately fifteen dresses for me to wear, and three hats neatly arranged at the rear.

She went on to say, “Then we exit and I change clothes in restrooms that are quite unsanitary, with urine on the floor, and small beach cabins. That’s a glimpse of what goes on backstage.

Alan mentioned, “However, it’s important to realize that upon arrival, the restrooms might not be operational. In such cases, we may need to seek out someone’s bathroom or a portable toilet.

Amanda concurred: “It seems we’re at the point where we need to ask for help… after all, how often have I found myself needing an umbrella in different nations while having to relieve myself in its vicinity?”

Or simply:

Amanda agreed: “It looks like we’ll need to ask someone for help… considering how many times I’ve needed an umbrella and had to find a place to relieve myself nearby!

You’ll see that we have numerous outfit changes too, which leads to our frequent traveling. Interestingly, the companies we work with usually rent the smallest vehicles for transportation.

In the background, I’m with Christian handling our hair and makeup, while you’re up front, managing the music choices.

As a fervent admirer, I couldn’t help but echo the sentiment when I learned they weren’t fond of their latest series’ title. In my opinion, it should be renamed “My Big Fat Greek Renovation.” Amanda even went as far as suggesting we take the matter up with the BBC, asserting, “It’s not satisfactory. Indeed, we must voice our disagreement about that.

Later on, she expressed: ‘Indeed, Japan has been a dream destination for me. It seems like the perfect spot to explore. I’m particularly drawn to going there during springtime. And here’s an idea that strikes me – perhaps our next show could be titled “Big in Japan” featuring Amanda and myself. I think it sounds great. I’m quite fond of this concept.’

The BBC declined to comment when contacted by TopMob.

Additionally, Amanda disclosed that the same hotel in Cyprus, where she sustained an injury on her leg back in 2019, promptly requested her departure to prevent her from discussing the incident that had occurred within their premises.

On my recent vacation, Amanda, a presenter for BGT and Heart FM radio, shared with Alan that she had fractured her leg. She also had little Holly with her at the time. There was a particularly annoying child causing trouble during this trip.

As a fervent admirer, let me share an experience that left quite an impression on me. You know how there’s usually one overly energetic child who seems to be everywhere without adult supervision? Well, it was exactly like that situation. This kid was bouncing around, shoving people, and causing quite a stir. Poor Holly was terrified because there were no parents in sight. In a heartbeat, I exclaimed, “Mommy, I’m getting off!

I told Holly, “Hold on, wait for Mommy, wait for Mommy.” Instead, she leaped away. As I followed suit, I ended up twisting my ankle and suffering not one but two falls.

After swimming back to land, there was Chris waiting on the shore, and I continued my way. He asked, “Did you enjoy your swim?” in a friendly tone.

As I found myself in distress, I couldn’t help but exclaim, “It seems I may have fractured my leg.” It was swinging wildly, causing quite the alarm. Fortunately, the hotel staff swiftly arranged for a taxi to transport me off their premises promptly, as I had sustained this injury on their property.

‘They wanted me to Keep stum. Anyway, that’s another story.Where there’s claim there’s a blame.’

She commented: ‘My initial visit to Cyprus felt as if a scene from a movie unfolded before me. Upon waking up, I discovered that a tornado had struck and chaos ensued; deckchairs were overturned, and mud covered everything. I couldn’t help but think, “What a terrible experience.”‘
