Amanda Holden sets pulses racing in a plunging cowl-neck gown for Britain’s Got Talent final after she hit back at Ofcom outrage over her racy outfits
In a deep neckline dress, Amanda Holden ignited excitement as she walked onto the stage during the finale of Britain’s Got Talent.
On Saturday’s finale, the 54-year-old judge from Britain’s Got Talent frequently outshone others with her striking outfits, much like any other occasion.
Amanda proudly displayed her remarkable figure in a fitting, white satin halterneck dress while strolling onto the stage, accompanied by fellow judge Alesha Dixon.
However, Amanda’s dress showcased an alluring cowl-neck design that subtly revealed the outline of a silver metal bra beneath.
She matched the appearance with refined white pumps and pulled back her blonde hair into a tidy bun, accessorizing with a striking diamond hairpiece.
Over the years, Amanda’s British Got Talent appearances have drawn controversy and prompted over a thousand complaints to Ofcom. However, she has vigorously defended herself against this criticism in recent times.

Amanda mentioned that she collaborates intimately with her stylist to design each ensemble, and firmly expressed her affection for every garment she’s donned on the program since its debut in 2007.
She told Closer magazine: ‘What you see on TV, I really love.
Regarding the frequent inquiries about Ofcom complaints, let me clarify that all clothing worn on the show has been inspected prior to my leaving the dressing room, which means I am always at ease and not concerned.
‘I think people should have fun with fashion!’
On more than one occasion, Amanda has stood up for her fashion decisions during the talent contest, following criticism from certain spectators.
2022 found me enthused, exclaiming that fashion lies in the realm of adventure. I implore all to embrace some whimsy, dare to push boundaries, for stagnation breeds monotony when it comes to personal style.
In my opinion, when it comes to fashion choices, my esteemed colleague Alesha Dixon, at 46 years old, manages to avoid any backlash over her bold ensembles. I find it rather peculiar that the level of criticism directed towards her is so minimal.
On Britain’s Got Talent, the TV celebrity frequently makes headlines with daring fashion statements that spark conversations among viewers. Notably, Amanda finds herself frequently defending against criticisms.

In a memorable instance, a bold dress designed by Julien Macdonald, worn on Britain’s Got Talent’s semi-finals in 2017, sparked an astounding 663 complaints to the media regulatory body, Ofcom.
The long gown dipped low to her naval, featuring an exposed section reaching her lower back through a cut-out; however, this design faced criticism from outraged spectators who considered it too revealing.
Although the expensive £11,000 outfit led to numerous complaints from viewers to Ofcom, the regulatory body opted against launching an investigation.
In simpler terms, Ofcom stated that although the dress might potentially upset certain viewers given it’s a family program, it wouldn’t surprise or seem out of place to most viewers.
In 2019, another of Amanda’s dresses on the show sparked nine Ofcom complaints.
The judge donned a dress featuring intricate spiderweb patterns across the chest area, which some spectators deemed inappropriate, leading to nine complaints being lodged against her attire.
On the other hand, Amanda seemed to find humor in the situation when she posted a joke on Instagram. The water bottle sitting on the judges’ panel was playfully referred to as a “nipple cover” by her.

On the subsequent evening, she attracted additional complaints from Ofcom while showcasing her style in a dress designed by Saiid Kobeisy from Lebanon.
In another controversy, the regulator said the dress received 34 complaints relating to her dress.
In the October 2020 broadcast, Amanda dazzled yet again, donning a deep purple Suzanne Neville gown featuring a lacy corset top, which accentuated her well-sculpted legs.
Among the 896 grievances lodged with Ofcom concerning that particular episode, a notable 136 centered around Amanda’s attire. Interestingly, Amanda expressed her puzzlement over the uproar caused by it.
She mentioned that, out of the 896 comments received that evening, there were only 136 complaints about the dress she posted on Instagram.
It seems there are far more critical and significant topics to discuss, wouldn’t you concur? I find myself puzzled as to why this persists.
