Amanda Holden and her lookalike daughters channel good friend Alan Carr as they dress as The Traitors for Halloween

Amanda Holden playfully dressed up as a character inspired by her friend Alan Carr for Halloween, creating a very convincing and funny costume.

I was so excited to see what Amanda Holden chose for her Halloween costume this year! She shared a peek on Instagram last night, and it was amazing – a really beautiful look with a cape and a gorgeous lantern. She clearly put a lot of thought into it!

Amanda was joined by her daughters, Lexi, 19, and Hollie, 13, who all dressed as characters from The Traitors for the event. It was quite a family affair!

Amanda wished her followers a ‘Happy Halloween!’ in a video posted to her social media, turning to face the camera after initially appearing with her back to it.

She held up a lantern in her hand and sported a pair of oversized glasses to mimic Alan.

Amanda clearly got into the Halloween spirit, posting with the caption: ‘A treat or trick for you ahead of tomorrow…’

Alan loved the look so much that he commented: ‘This is brilliant’ with laughing emojis.

She was also met with comments from the likes of presenter Claudia Winkleman and Myleene Klass.

Comedian Alan, 49, has become a popular figure on the show Celebrity Traitors, known for his strategic eliminations and sharp wit.

He has had fans in hysterics throughout the whole thing – particularly during Wednesday’s mission.

His shouts echoed through the valley as he ran across the famous, swaying bridge, hoping to win the prize money.

The comedian couldn’t stop screaming as he tentatively made his way across.

Taking his first steps he cried: ‘Oh no it’s well wobbly. Oh no no no no. Stop it now.’

When Kate Garraway tried to cheer him on, saying “You’re almost there!”, he angrily responded, “No, I’m not, you’re lying!”

Having made it across the bridge, he added £2,500 to the prize money, then exclaimed, ‘I feel like a winner, but also… empty.’

Soon after that, Alan’s ally, Jonathan Ross, was finally exiled from the castle following a heated discussion with the others.

The 64-year-old comedian and TV host left the game after receiving the most votes from the other contestants.

He received only six votes, and even his supposed allies, Alan and Cat Burns, voted against him as the game went on and people began to suspect his motives.

Jonathan, the traitor, kept everyone guessing until the dramatic reveal, then surprised the group by saying, ‘I honestly don’t understand why you’re all struggling.’

I’m really frustrated that this has happened again. Honestly, I feel like my time is being wasted, and I have to say, this whole situation seems pointless.

I’m not criticizing this because it’s incredibly difficult; I’m not faulting the players, but the game itself. I’ve always believed in playing with integrity and I continue to do so.

Honestly, it was brutal. They were all reeling, completely stunned, heads in their hands – you could feel the devastation. And then… then he just dropped it. That one phrase, aimed right at them… ‘To the Traitors!’ It was perfect. Absolutely perfect. I’ve replayed it in my head a million times, and it still gives me chills. I knew he had it in him!
