Amanda Holden, 54, recreates THAT Basic Instinct moment in a leather mini and knee-high boots – but insists she ‘IS wearing pants’

She is known for her saucy Instagram posts.

Amanda Holden shared a revealing video on social media that almost showed too much, continuing her trend of posting daring content.

The 54-year-old former Britain’s Got Talent judge shared a playful photo of herself in a short skirt, striking a pose inspired by Sharon Stone.

In the 1992 film Basic Instinct, Sharon Stone, playing the character Catherine Tramell, gained notoriety for a scene involving a police interrogation. She sat with her legs uncrossed, wearing a short dress without underwear, resulting in a highly publicized and controversial moment in Hollywood history.

Amanda jokingly pointed out the resemblance to a famous scene, explaining she hadn’t intended to recreate it. She added with a laugh that she was simply wearing pants because it was Tuesday!

Amanda described what she was wearing, then confidently walked through the Heart FM studios, where she was hosting the breakfast show.

Later in the day, Amanda was seen leaving work with her youngest daughter Hollie.

Amanda is a mother of two daughters, 19-year-old Lexi and 14-year-old Hollie. She shares them with her husband, Chris Hughes, who is 51 and works as a showbiz agent.

This follows a statement from the TV personality that her daughters, Lexi and Hollie, have no interest in her work in television, even though they’ve grown up watching their mother become a well-known face on British screens.

She explained that she’s always taught her daughters to stay humble and be resilient, especially if they decide to pursue careers in the public spotlight.

She shared that being married to Chris has taught her the importance of not taking things too seriously. She’s raised her children to also develop a resilient attitude and not let criticism bother them, hoping they’ve learned to handle things with a sense of humor and perspective, just like she does.

Lexi, the oldest daughter, has already been signed by the prestigious Storm modelling agency. However, Amanda revealed that Hollie isn’t interested in becoming famous and actually avoids being seen with her mother when picking up from school.

The Heart FM presenter shared that when he recently picked up his daughter, Hollie, from school, she actively avoided him. He explained that she saw him get out of the car and immediately walked to the other side of the street.

Her husband, Chris, stepped in to defend her, shouting out that their daughter should be proud.

Amanda chuckled, explaining that her teenage daughter wasn’t impressed. ‘She just kept saying, “Mom, let’s go!”‘ Amanda shared, adding that both of them are very grounded and practical.

Amanda said she was proud her children remained grounded despite her fame, and described her home life as happily ‘normal and chaotic’ – a welcome contrast to her public life.

Amanda shared with the Daily Mail that sending her oldest daughter, Lexi, off to college last year was a very emotional experience, and she’s been finding it challenging adjusting to life at home with her younger daughter, Hollie.

She also came to the defense of her daughter, Lexi, who is a model with Storm agency, dismissing accusations of nepotism. She pointed out that Lexi balances her studies with working two jobs.

Amanda shared that she’s going through a difficult time, with one child away at university and a 14-year-old who is currently distant and unwilling to talk to her.
