In a recent memoir, actress Amanda Barrie referred to Gordon Ramsay as a “harsh tormentor,” revisiting an incident from over twenty years ago when she playfully struck him during their time together on Hell’s Kitchen.

Previously known for her role as Alma Baldwin on Coronation Street for approximately two decades, the actress, now 89 years old, made an appearance on an American reality TV show back in 2004.

On the program, there was an intense disagreement between Amanda and Gordon, leading the actress to become upset and lash out at the chef during a heated moment.

Previously, she informed fans that the emotional outburst was the result of a gradual accumulation of feelings over time. Following the heated incident, Amanda and the show organizers mutually decided for her departure from the program.

In the initial part of her autobiography titled “I’m Still Here: My 90 Years,” as reported by The Sun, she draws a comparison between Gordon and former U.S. President Donald Trump.

‘They are both bullies’, she says.

In the book, she allegedly portrays Gordon as harsh and mentions that contestants often discussed emotional struggles. Furthermore, she claims that when the bullying became unbearable, she ultimately lashed out at him.
