Amanda Abbington Shines at The Last Laugh Premiere with Fiancé Jonathan Goodwin!
On Wednesday, Amanda Abbington beamed with joy as she joined her partner Jonathan Goodwin at the premiere of The Last Laugh.
50-year-old actor Benedict Cumberbatch, best known for his role as Sherlock, attended the show held at The Noel Coward Theatre, a venue in London’s West End.
The actress looked effortlessly chic in a white textured zip-up jacket paired with black trousers.
While Jonathan, who became wheelchair-bound following a harrowing stunt accident in 2021, donned a black quarter-zip sweater and blue denims.
Or, more casually:
After his stunt accident in 2021 left him paralyzed and reliant on a wheelchair, Jonathan opted for a black quarter-zip sweater and blue jeans.
With high energy and smiles, they gleamed for photos on the red carpet before entering the venue to savor the performance.
In the directorial role of Paul Hendy, The Last Laugh features actors Bob Golding, Damian Williams, and Simon Cartwright.

The production provides a fresh perspective on the daily lives of three iconic British comedy greats: Tommy Cooper, Eric Morecambe, and Bob Monkhouse.
In London, the movie “The Last Laugh” will be playing until March 22nd, with a running time of approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes.
In 2021, Amanda started dating with Jonathan, a previous escape artist and stunt performer. Reports state that they became engaged in May of 2023.
This year has been quite hectic for the actress, and it wasn’t until July – over half a year after Amanda left Strictly Come Dancing due to personal matters – that she leveled accusations against her professional dance partner, Giovanni Pernice.
She asserted that his actions towards her on the show were uncalled-for, harsh, and downright unkind.
Immediately, Giovanni dismissed the allegations, and an investigation by the BBC concluded in September that there was no evidence supporting her accusations of violent actions and intimidating conduct.
However, allegations of verbally abusive conduct and harassment led the BBC to issue an apology. Yet, Giovanni expressed satisfaction that the report did not uncover any instances of threatening or aggressive behavior towards him.
After being investigated and confirmed clear, dancer Giovanni from the Italian adaptation of Strictly will embark on another tour towards the end of the year alongside his close friend Anton Du Beke.

Regarding Amanda, it has been made known this month that her recent performance will take place in a theater situated behind a pub in North London, catering to a smaller, more intimate crowd.
The actress enrolled for a one-month performance in a play titled “Not a Happy Room” at the fashionable King’s Head Theatre in Islington, taking on the character of Esther.
For the upcoming premiere on March 26, the theater is capable of accommodating approximately 180 spectators. However, as of yesterday, only 64 tickets priced between £10 and £35 had been purchased for this special event, which is referred to as a preview.
In a new project, Amanda, mother of two kids with Martin Freeman from his past relationships (known for The Office and Sherlock), will be collaborating with Rosie Day, an actress from Outlander and the writer of a critically acclaimed dark comedy that has been likened to both Saltburn and Schitt’s Creek.
It’s worth contemplating that if Amanda hadn’t been involved in the disagreement with Giovanni, she may have found herself in a higher-profile role with a more lucrative salary.
What a pity they had a falling out. If they hadn’t, they might have taken home the trophy on Strictly Come Dancing, making Amanda the talk of the town. However, she felt it was important to stand up for fellow women. One could ponder if that decision might have some consequences.
