At last, and wander’s new sneaker with Altra is finally releasing. The duo’s collaborative take on the Timp 5 BOA was teased last July with a Spring/Summer 2025 release window. Now, the duo has officially presented the project ahead of its release next week.
Both brands, rooted in exploration, have again looked to the mountains for inspiration, letting it shape their new project. Its “Granite Grey” is designed to represent the alpine landscapes that both brands find themselves doing extensive gear testing on. Subtle notes of reflectivity illuminate the precision-engineered mesh upper gracefully. The model’s signature structure again sees a BOA Fit System take on a burrito-style construction. As for its sole unit, a zero-drop platform and Vibram Megagrip outsole let one traverse any terrain with a natural feel. Its typical “ALTRA” branding note across the upper is now joined by an “and wander” callout at both the lateral heel and BOA lockdown system.
