It appears that Mega and Alpha Pokémons might be making a comeback in Generation 9, as leaked information suggests they will feature in the forthcoming game, Pokémon Legends: Z-A.
In a significant announcement on April 19th, the renowned X account known as Centro LEAKS revealed details about Pokémon Legends: Z-A. According to their disclosure, this upcoming title will incorporate missions with Rogue Mega Pokémon and Alpha Pokémon, which were previously introduced in the prior Pokémon Legends game.
Despite Centro LEAKS not disclosing further information about the Rogue Mega Pokémon, there has been much excitement and curiosity among the gaming community about its potential role within the game.

This recently introduced version of Mega Pokémon, labeled as “Rogue,” may not require a trainer to activate its mega evolution. This is somewhat contrary to our initial belief that mega evolution can only occur when a compatible pokemon forms a bond with its trainer who owns both a key stone and a mega stone.

Contrarily to other Pokémons’ comeback which might catch us off guard, the reappearance of Alpha Pokémons is somewhat expected given that Z-A belongs to the series of Pokémon Legends games. These specific Pokémons, as previously exhibited in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, are more robust and powerful variants of standard Pokémons, featuring glowing red eyes and displaying extreme aggression when intruders enter their territories.
Other recent Pokémon Legends: Z-A leaks from Centro LEAKS
Beyond just the Mysterious Giant Pokemon, Centro REVEALS also disclosed other exciting tidbits about Pokémon Legends: Z-A, like a catalog of 26 new Pokemons capable of Mega Evolutions and the Pokédex number for Zygarde in this game.

Although Centro LEAKS has a reputation for sharing leaks that prove accurate, like their forecast on the debut of the Triumphant Light set for the Pokémon TCG Pocket, we strongly advise everyone to approach all information with caution and wait until the official release of Pokémon Legends: Z-A in the last quarter of 2025 before making any conclusions.
In the vibrant city of Lumiose, within the Kalos region, Pokémon Legends: Z-A unfolds its tale. The hints dropped during the Pokémon Presents livestream, with the inclusion of AZ and his Eternal Flower Floette, strongly suggest that this game is a continuation of the story initiated in Pokémon X and Y.
