Despite receiving a 0% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, All’s Fair has become Hulu’s most popular scripted series launch in years. The drama, created by Ryan Murphy, attracted 3.2 million viewers worldwide in just three days – making it the streamer’s highest-rated scripted series in three years.
Okay, so I just started watching this new show and it’s WILD. Kim Kardashian plays a lawyer – yeah, seriously! – named Allura Grant, and she’s running this law firm in LA called Grant Ronson Greene & Associates. She’s working with Liberty Ronson, played by Naomi Watts, and Emerald Greene, who’s played by Niecy Nash-Betts. It’s a pretty interesting setup, seeing Kim K. as a lawyer!
I’m so excited about this new legal drama! It focuses on a firm that helps women going through divorce, and they’re constantly battling it out in court with another firm led by Sarah Paulson – she’s amazing! The cast is incredible too, with Teyana Taylor, Matthew Noszka, Glenn Close, and Ed O’Neill all starring. I can’t wait to see the drama unfold!

This story follows a high-end divorce law firm in Los Angeles where managing messy, multi-million dollar splits is just part of the job, and secrets are always brewing.
Despite receiving negative reviews, All’s Fair premiered on November 4th and quickly became one of Hulu’s most popular new scripted series, according to The Wrap.

Critics panned the new show, giving it a 0% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. One review in The Guardian even called it shockingly bad.
The show’s rating has dropped further, and currently stands at 4% based on 25 reviews. Critics have described it as impossible to watch.
Critics weren’t just disliking the show – they found it genuinely unwatchable. The Nightly put it bluntly, and USA Today described it as stiff, unnatural, and so awkward that even distractions couldn’t make it enjoyable.
According to The Financial Times, this confusingly bad show raises the question of whether its creator has somehow managed to strip all the charm from the talented actors involved.

Okay, so I just read a review in The Hollywood Reporter and… ouch. They were not impressed with Kardashian’s acting. They said it felt really forced and unnatural, and honestly, they felt the writing was just as bad – equally stiff and lacking any real emotion. Basically, the review suggests the performance matched the quality of the script – neither were very good!
The review in Decider praised the show as delightfully over-the-top and campy, noting that it’s self-aware, which promises an entertaining viewing experience, especially with the cases the law firm handles.
Kim Kardashian has cleverly addressed the show’s negative reviews by using them in a funny and effective marketing campaign.
She posted photos from the premiere on Instagram, playfully contrasting them with some negative reviews. The caption read: “Have you watched the most critically acclaimed show of the year?!?!? All’s Fair is now streaming on Hulu and Disney+.”
All’s Fair is available to stream on Disney+ and Hulu.
