On IRK Magazine’s cover, Allison Janney captivated viewers in a striking pose alongside Miles Thomas Nightingale, a young, shirtless male model, who is younger than her.
65-year-old Oscar winner openly stated that the 70s-style photoshoot left her feeling attractive, and she fondly referred to her co-star Miles as her “on-set confederate in crime” during the glamorous preparation process.
In her own words, Allison stated that when she steps into a role, with its glamour, costumes, and set design, and Robert Ascroft is the one behind the camera, it helps her tap into a sense of personal sexual power. For her, a woman who is confident in herself embodies sex appeal, which she finds captivating.
I found that time period utterly captivating – the glamour, the extravagance, everything about it really got to me. From the hairstyles to the makeup, it had a transformative quality that I can’t quite describe. If only I could have strutted down a runway during those days! There was a palpable energy during our photo shoot – I felt like I was embodying the character portrayed by my attire, and let me tell you, it was simply fabulous.
For Nightingale, the sentiment was reciprocated. They praised Janney as both amazingly skilled and gifted, describing the whole experience as nothing short of an absolute delight.
The Untroubled Star Maintains Her Tall, Slim Figure Without Marriage or Children Through Hard Work.

Maintaining my physical fitness and strength is important for me to handle the demands of my job effectively, as Allison pointed out.
‘I work out a lot. The body is the vehicle, and I try to take care of it.’
And when asked how she unplugs after a long day on set, Janney simply replied: ‘Vodka.’
At present, the seven-time Emmy Award recipient is skillfully playing the role of Eleanor, a tough divorce attorney for Ivy (Olivia Colman), in Jay Roach’s satirical black comedy titled The Roses. However, despite its premiere last Friday, the film has grossed just $19 million at the worldwide box office so far.
In a modern twist, the 1989 film “The War of the Roses,” originally starring Danny DeVito, is being reimagined with actors like Benedict Cumberbatch, Andy Samberg, and Kate McKinnon in key roles, based on Warren Adler’s 1981 novel.
In the third season of Debora Cahn’s political thriller “The Diplomat,” Allison returns to her recurring role as President Grace Penn. This eight-episode season will debut on Netflix starting October 18.
In the upcoming 10-episode second season of Abe Sylvia’s humorous soap opera, Palm Royale, which airs on Apple TV+ starting November 12, Janney will once again portray the character of Palm Beach high society figure, Evelyn Rollins.
In addition to “Another Simple Favor,” the following films featuring Jim Rash are set for release:
1. “Miss You, Love You,” a funeral drama co-starring Andrew Rannells.
2. “The Heart,” a black market comedy that also stars Nat Faxon and Sam Rockwell.
This way, it’s clear that Jim Rash is in two upcoming films alongside different co-stars for each project.

Allison remarked that women who are intricate and multi-layered can be especially captivating. She believes such characters should possess depth, development, and a narrative path. They should begin in one state and ultimately emerge altered – either for the best or worst.
I’m genuinely content with building a successful career in an industry known for its volatility and challenges. Despite the difficulties, I remain dedicated to my work. While I don’t pursue recognition through awards or accolades, it’s certainly pleasant when they come my way.
Initially, Allison Janney gained recognition through her prominent portrayal of White House press secretary C.J. Cregg in the political series The West Wing, created by Aaron Sorkin. This show ran for a duration of seven seasons from 1999 to 2006 on NBC.
