16-year-old me, Weslie, took to Instagram Live on a Friday to speak up against the hurtful cyberbullying my family and I have been subjected to recently. This includes my mom, who’s 36 and has a new partner in her life.

She mentioned in a recent video uploaded to her profile, “It’s already been two years since my stepfather left, but I’m still receiving disapproving remarks.

Speaking candidly as a lifestyle guide, let me share some insights about the recent discussions surrounding Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs). To put it in perspective, imagine a day when we gathered to bid farewell to our dear friend, Stephen, in an open casket viewing. This poignant moment, unlike any argument about NDAs, served as a stark reminder of the importance of honesty, transparency, and unity in our community.

After holding a funeral, there was a week-long period. During this time, my mother requested that Non-Disclosure Agreements be signed when viewing Stephen’s body. This was to prevent anyone who attended from taking pictures of Stephen and sharing them online or with others.

She clarified, “NDAs (Non-Disclosure Agreements) are meant for situations like this. They’re not to prevent you from discussing Stephen altogether.

Speaking about her mom, the caring daughter added, ‘Ultimately, she gets that it’s all about family.’

You all are considering treating her disrespectfully, but she remains kind, understanding, and forgiving. However, it’s important to remember that even during Stephen’s lifetime, attendees at our events were required to sign non-disclosure agreements (NDAs).

‘But now, just because it’s my mom handing the paper, it’s different and it’s just annoying.’

I had hoped that the funeral day would be a heartfelt farewell, but regrettably, it didn’t turn out as planned. It was intended to be a serene and poignant occasion, yet it fell short of that ideal. We were supposed to express our goodbyes, but instead, discord and harsh words overshadowed the day. That day, which should have been a cherished memory for my mother, became one tainted by conflict, as her family’s actions marred what we had all desired. Instead of celebrating her life in peace, she was subjected to an environment that did not reflect our intentions.

In another part of her lengthy explanation, she expressed, ‘It’s all tangled up without any cause. It’s not just an online performance; this is my reality. I’m fed up with receiving hurtful comments and witnessing my mom endure hate for losing the person she deeply cares about.’

She added, “I also have siblings, and this man is their father – the one they’ll grow up with. They might see all this on social media that can be really painful for them.” Here she was referring to her eight-year-old brother Maddox and five-year-old sister Zaia.

Holker’s This Far memoir was announced in September and has a February 5 release date. 

In her recording, I shared that Boss didn’t officially adopt me through legal means, yet he played an incredibly significant role in my life, nurturing and caring for me as if I were his own child since I was just a year old.

Holker and Boss, who was well-known for his DJ gig on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, married in 2013.

Weslie explained to the camera, wearing a roomy gray hoodie, “I understand that my bond with Stephen appears complex, but he’s been my father figure since I was just a baby.

The student expressed that while she has a biological father, it’s Stephen who brought her up. She emphasized that he essentially raised her, and she finds it painful to see recent stories about him. She found it difficult to express the complexity of their relationship in her post.

She vigorously stressed, ‘My father here isn’t just a jest to me. We spent 13 years as a couple, and during those years, he was the one I confided in about everything.’ With her cascade of sun-kissed curls framing her features, she spoke with deep emotion.

He’s the one I’d turn to when I needed a shoulder to cry on. Every morning, he’d rouse me, we’d share breakfast together, and he was the face I’d see upon his return from work. We coexisted within the same four walls, and now I’m encountering hostility for his departure — and it’s baffling to me. It’s painful to endure.

Critics haven’t been shy about criticizing Allison harshly after she revealed details about her late husband’s alleged substance abuse issues and past sexual abuse, experiences she claimed to have discovered by reading his personal journals.

The boss’s relatives are planning a response as they anticipate the upcoming allegations about him, which will be made public in his upcoming book.

I can’t help but feel utterly frustrated and disappointed! Not only was I denied the opportunity to read an advance copy of this book, but I wasn’t even informed about its contents beforehand. It leaves me feeling like I’m missing out on something truly remarkable, and it’s driving me up the wall!

It has been mentioned that, after the passing of Twitch on December 13, 2022, his family was under obligation to keep silent by signing a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), which restricts them from sharing much information.
