All-women Blue Origin crew successfully completes trip to space
The event marked the first all-women spaceflight in more than 60 years.
On April 14, the Blue Origin spacecraft piloted by Jeff Bezos carried a female team into orbit as part of the New Shepard Mission NS-31.
Who was on the Blue Origin flight?
Six individuals were on the spacecraft, among them were Katy Perry, Gayle King, Aisha Bowe, Amanda Nguyễn, Kerianne Flynn, and Lauren Sánchez, who is engaged to Bezos.
While airborne, the team sped ahead past thrice the pace of sound and exceeded the Kármán line, a spatial milestone located about 100 kilometers up from our world. In that zone, they experienced weightlessness before safely returning to Earth.
This historic space mission represented the long-awaited return of an all-female crew to space, a feat not achieved in more than six decades. Herein lies further information about each team member’s remarkable accomplishments.

Katy Perry and crew return to Earth
After returning from space, Katy Perry expressed a deep bond with love, telling Reuters that she felt it strongly. To keep connected to her daughter, she held up a daisy she’d taken into space. In an exuberant show of joy, the pop star kissed the earth.
She added, “Despite being widespread, daisies possess an extraordinary strength. Regardless of the conditions, they manage to thrive and showcase their power.
