All upcoming Dota 2 tournaments in 2024

As a seasoned Dota 2 enthusiast with years of gaming under my belt, I couldn’t be more thrilled about the lineup of tournaments in 2024! The adrenaline rush of LAN events is unmatched, and it’s like Christmas came early with all these announcements.


PGL is the latest to announce more Dota 2 tournaments this year!

The ESL One Birmingham tournament has wrapped up, but things are heating up for the 2024 season of Dota 2! A series of top-tier LAN tournaments are lined up, offering substantial prize money and featuring the world’s best teams. Here is a list of announced upcoming Dota 2 tournaments in 2024:

The upcoming Dota 2 competition is called PGL Wallachia Season 2, a significant LAN event taking place after The International 13 (TI13). We’re looking forward to participating in this top-tier tournament, scheduled to start on October 4th, roughly two weeks following the conclusion of TI13.

BLAST joins Dota 2

A well-known tournament organizer, BLAST, has stepped into the world of Dota 2. If you’re a fan of Valve or CS:GO, you’d likely know this reputable organization, given their history of hosting numerous trustworthy tournaments. BetBoom Dacha

As a passionate gamer, I’m excited to be part of the BetBoom Dacha tournament series in 2023. This amazing event is organized by FISSURE and BetBoom, two names that have made a significant impact in the gaming world. Throughout last year, they hosted several unforgettable events like the BetBoom Universe: Comics Zone and BetBoom Xmas Show.

2024 will see the announcement of two separate Dota 2 tournaments by BetBoom Dacha organizers, each boasting a prize pool of one million dollars. Additionally, these BetBoom Dacha events will feature increased prize money for their 1v1 mode. The previous winner of this mode took home $1,000, but the updated BetBoom Dacha now offers an impressive $100,000 to the solo tournament champion.

Games of the Future

Games of the Future is another $1 million tournament on the radar, however it is particularly controversial because it is linked with the Russian government. The tournament invites plenty of notable teams including Nigma Galaxy and Entity, whom are all receiving criticism from the community. Read more about Games of the Future below!

ESL Pro Tour

2024 sees the ESL Dota 2 circuit, known as the ESL Pro Tour, leading the calendar with a series of events. It boasts three online tournaments and three LAN events worldwide, each offering a whopping $1 million prize pool. Among these is the Riyadh Masters @ Esports World Cup, the peak event of the EPT, set to take place in July.

PGL Dota 2 series

As an ardent fan, I’m excited to share that PGL hasn’t given a specific title yet for the upcoming Dota 2 tour marathon, but here’s the scoop: they’ve unveiled a grand plan spanning from 2024 to 2026! This ambitious roadmap includes eight top-tier tournaments, each promising a staggering million-dollar prize pool. PGL has also released its calendar all the way up until the next two years. ESB x Qatar Esports Federation

On February 4th, it was announced that Electronic Sports Broadcasting (ESB), one of South America’s leading esports organizers, joined forces with the Qatar Esports Federation. This collaboration will result in three LAN tournaments taking place throughout the year, with a combined prize pool of $2.6 million.
