All the signs that Taylor Swift is ready to re-release Reputation as fans spot major hints at Eras Tour Wembley shows
As a long-time Swiftie, I must say, watching Taylor’s London shows has been nothing short of thrilling! The suspense and speculation surrounding her performance have added an extra layer of excitement that truly mirrors the anticipation before one of her albums drops.
Fans of Taylor Swift believe she will likely unveil a significant announcement during her last performance at Wembley Stadium, which takes place on Tuesday.
Fans of Taylor, aged 34, are speculating about when she will reveal her plans for re-recording her album Reputation, which is known as Rep TV (Taylor’s Edition).
Many believe that the concert on Tuesday, which marks the end of the European tour segment, is where she will reveal her upcoming album.
Over the past four episodes, viewers have been picking up on significant hints since she came back to London for another stint.
So here TopMob takes a look at all the signs Taylor is ready to re-release Reputation…
New Midnights bodysuit
Taylor is re-recording her old albums following a dispute over her masters with Scooter Braun.
To date, she has remade the following albums: Fearless (Taylor’s Edition) for 2021, Red (Taylor’s Edition) also for 2021, Speak Now (Taylor’s Edition) set to release in 2023, and 1989 (Taylor’s Edition) scheduled for 2023.
Speculation surfaced regarding when Taylor Swift donned a sleek, shimmering jumpsuit during her Midnights Era performances at recent London concerts.
Prior to unveiling her 1989 (Taylor’s Version) in August 2023, I too was captivated by the fresh attire she donned as we stepped into the Midnights era.
Zuhair Murad’s stunning bodysuit, adorned with stars and a crescent moon, accentuates her remarkable physique beautifully.
It is is reminiscent of when she wore a new Midnights outfit the day before she announced 1989 (Taylor’s Version) in August 2023.
She eventually released the 1989 re-recording with bonus vault tracks in October 2023.
Taylor confirmed in August 2019 that she would be re-recording her albums.
In my viewpoint, creators ought to hold the rights to their own masterpieces, and I wholeheartedly advocate for this belief. It’s a matter that stirs deep emotions within me.
Snake hand movements
During the recent concert at Wembley on Saturday, I couldn’t help but follow Taylor’s performance closely. As the show came to an end and she was departing the stage, a captivating moment occurred when she gracefully formed a snake shape with her arm – a move that was characteristic of this particular era.
The last song she performs is Karma and at the end of the song she disappears under the stage.
In my role as a lifestyle advisor, I typically bid farewell to the throngs below after each descent, but today, as I glided downward, I chose to make a graceful, undulating gesture with my hand – much like a serpent moving along its path.
She made the hand movement again as she sang Anti Hero during Monday night’s show.
During the time of her Reputation album, snakes became a significant motif for her, appearing frequently in major music videos. This symbolism came at the height of her conflict with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian.
Previously, I was referred to as a snake on social media, and the term stuck. This happened a few years back.
Subsequently, there was an influx of comments directed at me on various social platforms, many of them unfavorable. This led me to experience a prolonged period of emotional lows.
‘I went through some times when I didn’t know if I was going to get to do this anymore.’
Her reputation served as something of a return to the spotlight, following a year-long absence from the public eye due to various disputes.
Telling surprise song choice
On Saturday’s performance, she unexpectedly played a song called “I Did Something Bad” from the Reputation album.
At a concert, a fan recorded footage of Taylor stating that she intended to perform a song which hadn’t been part of the tour up until then, and it happens to be one of her all-time favorites.
I couldn’t help but craft this extraordinary show just for you, given your exceptional talent that warrants a performance of such grandeur.
‘It is such a dream to perform for a crowd like this, especially when there’s 92,000 of you.’
Some spectators believed she might have selected the track from the Reputation album as a subtle indication of what lies ahead.
One fan said after the surprise song: ‘She just sang IDSB and made the same snake motion with her hands. She’s done this before!!’
Secret numbers and costume hints
In addition she was seen mouthing the number 20 when she sang her hit 22 on Saturday night.
This could be a reference to her announcing it on August 20 which is the date of Tuesday’s show.
For the latest London performances, her wardrobe choices have included several significant signals as well.
On Monday evening, Taylor returned with her blue Folklore costume following the 15th performance – it was the same attire she donned during the show where she unveiled ‘Taylor’s Version of 1989’.
During the piano performance, there was a brief shower, and Taylor said something like, “If it continues to drizzle for more than six minutes, I guess we could call it a full-fledged rain shower.”
Reputation is her sixth album so the number six is of importance there too, fans claim.
Additionally, she donned her “Not Taylor’s Version” tee during the Red Era segment of the performance – following a break of six shows.
