The new series, “Like a Keith in the Night,” will premiere on Thursday, October 2, at 6:00 PM Pacific Time / 9:00 PM Eastern Time, exclusively on HBO Max.

Peacemaker tells the story of Christopher Smith, played by John Cena. Cena portrays a man willing to do anything – even resort to violence – to achieve peace. In Season 2, Smith finds himself in a different dimension where his father and brother are still alive. They are both superheroes, and are thriving in the spotlight, enjoying their fame and success.

Okay, so by the end of Season 2, Episode 6, titled Ignorance Is Chris, I was really feeling for Chris. He finally gets some quality time with his dad and brother, and it’s genuinely heartwarming to see him receive the love and acceptance he’s always craved. But, and this is a big but, that feel-good moment doesn’t last. The show throws a massive curveball at us, revealing that Earth 2 is actually controlled by Nazis. They *won* World War II, completely flipping the script and defeating the Allied forces. It strongly suggests that this alternate Earth isn’t just *any* alternate Earth – it could very well be the same world we saw in Earth X.
