All qualified teams for the VALORANT Masters Toronto
In Toronto, Canada, from June 7th through June 22nd, you’ll find all the teams that have qualified for the VALORANT Masters tournament.
Excitedly, I’ve been keeping tabs on the intense Stage 1 of the VALORANT Masters tournament unfolding across all regions. Now, as a fan, it feels thrilling to know that the final roster has been decided for Toronto! These top-tier teams are now ready to battle it out on an international stage, aiming for the ultimate glory.
VCT China
VCT China typically completes its competition stages ahead of other regions, which means we’ve known the qualifying teams for some time. Now, let’s trace their path to see how they got here.
Xi Lai Gaming
As a passionate fan, I can’t help but express my awe at the stunning performance of Xi Lai Gaming (XLG) in the main tournament. Hailing from Ascension, they were relative newcomers, often overlooked as underdogs. But boy, did they prove us wrong! They took down EDG, a team that has been a staple of international events since China joined the circuit at Champions 2022, ending their remarkable eight-event streak. Truly an unforgettable moment in the world of gaming!
Following their victory over Wolves Esports, XLG secured a place in the tournament. However, they didn’t rest on their laurels; it was against Bilibili Gaming that XLG clinched the top spot as the #1 seed for VCT China Stage 1. We can hardly wait to see what they achieve at their first international competition.
Wolves Esports
Back in 2024, Wolves Esports emerged as another thrilling sensation. Their VALORANT squad made its debut that year, and by the following year, they managed to secure a spot for VCT China Stage 1. Achieving second place in the region marked their first significant milestone since their inception. Now, they’re ready to compete on an international stage for the very first time. Can they leave everyone stunned in their debut international competition?
Bilibili Gaming
2023 saw Bilibili Gaming (BLG) establishing its VALORANT squad. Though they haven’t yet clinched any regional or global tournaments, their strong team lineup could potentially create upsets at the Masters Toronto. Since their inception, BLG has consistently qualified for the VALORANT Champions. This year, they make their debut in a Master’s tournament as VCT China’s third-ranked team.
VCT Americas
G2 Esports
2025 has swiftly turned into a shining year for G2 Esports. After experiencing a series of regional and global disappointments, the team has returned with renewed vigor and unwavering resolve to satisfy its supporters. The unexpected recruitment of Alexander “jawgemo”, the 2023 VALORANT World Champion, brought fresh vitality and talent to the squad.
Previously triumphant at VCT Americas Kickoff and Stage 1, G2 aims to capture the VALORANT Masters Toronto trophy. After a close loss against T1 in the Masters Bangkok Grand Finals, there’s speculation about whether G2 will take advantage of this opportunity for redemption and ultimately emerge victorious.
Sentinels
For some time, Sentinels held supreme authority over North America in the gaming world. However, in 2025, G2 Esports appeared on the scene to contest their reign. As victors of Masters Reykjavík 2021 and Masters Madrid 2024, with a unique double win in Masters titles, Sentinels are determined not to lose all domestic supremacy to G2. Now, as the second seed from VCT Americas, they’ve declared their intention to return even stronger and reclaim their position at the top, taking part in Masters Toronto.
MIBR
MIBR has demonstrated their superiority among South American teams, with stellar domestic performances that finally secured them a spot in a Masters tournament for the first time. Fans attribute the transformation of the team’s dynamics and their successful journey onto the international stage to the arrival of Erick “aspas” Santos and Andrew “Verno” Maust. We eagerly await their performance on Canadian soil.
VCT Pacific
Rex Regum Qeon
One of the most unexpected standouts in the VCT Pacific tournament was the team known as Rex Regum Qeon (RRQ). They made a strong impression during group play and carried that momentum into the Upper Bracket with confidence. Despite Gen.G knocking them down to the Lower Bracket, their opponents underestimated the indomitable spirit driving the Indonesian team. The two teams faced off again in the Grand Final, with RRQ’s sole ambition being to emerge victorious – a goal they successfully achieved. Now, as the top-seeded team from the Pacific region, RRQ is preparing for the Masters Toronto tournament.
Gen.G Esports
Gen.G Esports is the sole Korean team to secure a spot in VALORANT Masters Toronto. After their triumph at Masters Shanghai against Team Heretics and their performance at VALORANT Champions 2024, they’ve been absent from international competitions, but are now eager to demonstrate their might once more. As the second seed, Gen.G is determined to claim another Masters trophy.
Paper Rex
Even though Paper Rex had impressive performances in previous international competitions, they failed to secure a spot in the first major tournament of 2025, a disappointing outcome that prompted them to raise their game. Their performance during the VCT Pacific Stage 1 group stage was unsteady, but they put on an amazing display in the playoffs.
Following their win against the Masters Bangkok title holders, T1, Paper Rex advanced progressively through the elimination bracket. Regrettably, they couldn’t clinch victory against RRQ in the finale, but they managed to lock their position as the third representative from the Pacific region for the Masters Toronto event.
VCT EMEA
The specific order in which teams will be placed for the VCT EMEA Grand Final on May 18th hasn’t been determined yet. But, what we do know is that the EMEA teams who have qualified for the VALORANT Masters Toronto are all set.
FNATIC
FNATIC consistently keeps their fans on a thrilling emotional ride. Nicknamed “the kings of reverse sweeps,” they managed to secure a place at the Masters Toronto in a nail-biting fashion that left fans at the edge of their seats. In what seemed like an impossible situation, FNATIC had dropped the last map against Team Liquid, placing them in a perilous position. Yet, unexpectedly, they gathered strength and swept the series, eventually qualifying for Masters Toronto.
Team Heretics
In simpler terms, their flawless performance during the VCT EMEA Stage 1 playoffs propelled them straight into the Semi-Finals. To secure a spot at Masters Toronto, all that was required was victory over BBL, which they achieved convincingly with a 2-0 sweep. Following their disappointing defeat against EDG at VALORANT Champions 2024, the team aims to redeem themselves by bringing home the Masters Toronto Trophy. Can they make it happen?
Team Liquid
In a nail-biting finale against Team Liquid at VALORANT Masters Toronto, BBL nearly secured the victory, but Liquid showed resilience. The game ended dramatically with an exhilarating ace by Kamil “kamo” Frąckowiak, ensuring the win for Team Liquid. Despite their frequent qualifications for international events, a major trophy has been hard to come by for Team Liquid. Could Toronto be the tournament where they finally take home the crown?
VALORANT Masters Toronto
The event takes place from the 7th to the 22nd of June in Toronto, Canada. You can catch all the action on the authorized VALORANT platforms – either on Twitch or YouTube.
