All Pokémon Legends: Z-A details announced today
Finally, we have details on Pokémon Legends Z-A.
At long last, information regarding the forthcoming Pokémon Legends: Z-A games is now available! This title was initially teased during the 2024 Pokémon Presents event, and eager fans have been waiting patiently for a year to learn more. The dearth of information has spawned a vast sea of speculation surrounding the game.
It’s great news that we now have the specifics about the game. Here’s what we currently know about Pokémon Legends: Z-A following today’s Pokémon Presents 2025 reveal.
Pokémon Legends ZA Starters confirmed
Following numerous rumors, we can now confirm the initial trio of characters for Legends ZA. These include Tepig, Totodile, and Chikorita, which represent an entirely fresh lineup of starting Pokémon that have not been featured together in any previous game.
Legends ZA is set in the recent past
Unlike Pokémon Arceus, which is set in ancient times, Pokémon Legends ZA takes place in the more recent past. It has been announced today that this game will be centered around Luminiose City, undergoing a modern makeover. This transformation will result in a lively, urban environment for you to explore and play within.
In and around the city, there will be designated areas known as “natural habitats,” which serve as authentic ecosystems for Pokémon. These areas are where you’ll have chances to come across wild Pokémon within the game, given its urban setting.
Release window narrowed
It’s been indicated that the launch date for Legends ZA will be towards the end of 2025, providing a more precise timeline compared to the earlier 2025 window. Since the new Switch 2 console is due out in mid-2025, it seems likely that the game will debut on this platform. Unfortunately, no specific release date, pricing details, or additional information were shared during today’s Pokémon Presents event.
Mega Evolutions return
As a gamer, I’m thrilled with the confirmation that Mega Evolution is making its comeback once Legends ZA drops! Despite not spotting any fresh Mega Evolutions in the trailer, it would be a massive surprise if we don’t get some new ones when the game launches.
It has been widely speculated that Zygarde could get a Mega Evolution.
