- Bronze: Divisions 1 to 5
- Silver: Divisions 1 to 5

- Grandmaster: Divisions 1 to 5

Overwatch 2 ranked system explained
In Overwatch 2, there are eight skill levels leading up to the Top 500, which are Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Master, Grandmaster, and Champion. Players at the lower levels (Bronze to Diamond) can be quite diverse when they’re five divisions apart. The same goes for the Master and Grandmaster ranks. Lastly, players in the Champion rank might still see a range of skill levels when they’re three divisions apart.
Overwatch 2 rank reset and competitive rework explained
In Overwatch 2 Season 9, there was a major revamp of the competitive system. This update included the introduction of a new rank called Champion, which lies between Grandmaster and the Top 500 ranks.
Furthermore, the revamp and refresh of the ranking system has made it clearer and more precise to track your competitive advancement following every game.
Overwatch 2’s competitive game modes
- Role Queue
- Open Queue
- Competitive Mystery Heroes (Sometimes)
Currently, the game offers three ranked play modes: Role Queue, Open Queue, and occasionally Mystery Heroes Competitive. To engage with these, first, initiate the game, then from the primary menu, choose “Play” and click on the “Competitive” option. However, it’s important to note that a player must win 50 Quick Play games before they can participate in these specific game modes.
Ranked rewards
- Each win grants 10 Competitive Points
- Each draw grants 5 Competitive Points
- Each loss grants 0 Competitive Points
