The thrilling mystery, All Her Fault, starring Dakota Fanning, has quickly become a hit with viewers around the world. Based on Andrea Martin’s popular novel, the series debuted on Peacock in November 2025 and begins with a desperate situation: Marissa Irvine (Sarah Snook, known from Succession) discovers her child has been kidnapped.
The eight-episode series boasts strong performances, particularly from Emmy winner Snook, who powerfully portrays a mother facing extraordinary challenges. Fanning, previously nominated for an Emmy for her work on a Netflix series, plays Jenny Kaminski, an unexpected friend to the main character, Marissa.

The show quickly became popular, breaking records as Peacock’s most-watched series and receiving numerous award nominations. While you can watch the entire series on Peacock in the U.S., it’s also gaining traction worldwide. In South America, it’s available on Prime Video and has become the #1 show in countries like Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, and Peru.
The show is also performing well on SkyShowtime in Europe and OSN in the Middle East. Currently, it’s a Top 5 hit in countries like Denmark, Finland, Norway, Egypt, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Yemen, and continues to climb in other regions.
Featuring a talented cast including Jake Lacy, Sophia Lillis, Abby Elliot, Jay Ellis, Daniel Monks, Duke McCloud, and Michael Peña, the thriller All Her Fault quickly became a viral sensation in late 2025, sparking lots of conversation online. It also broke records for Peacock, becoming their most successful launch ever with 46 million hours viewed in its first three weeks.
Despite its limited release, All Her Fault managed to break into Nielsen’s Top 10 streaming charts. While the show’s future remains uncertain, creator Megan Gallagher mentioned in November she’d be willing to continue the story if given the opportunity. Recent accolades – including two Golden Globe nominations and a Critics’ Choice Award win for actress Snook – might change things, potentially paving the way for another season.
It’s happened before that limited series come back for another season. But, as with the show Big Little Lies, a second season doesn’t always capture the same success or viewership as the first.
Despite its popularity, the thriller All Her Fault hasn’t been renewed for another season yet. However, the strong connection between the two main actresses opens up possibilities for a second season that could explore different timelines or tell standalone stories, potentially focusing more on Jenny, played by Fanning.
