Lure Modules are also useful for attracting Pokémon, though they might not always bring what you expect. When searching for Ditto, pay attention to current in-game events, as special themed events may offer missions that increase your chances of encountering rare Pokémon like Ditto.

Shiny Ditto are much rarer than regular Ditto. While any Ditto is already a lucky find, the chances of it being shiny are very low – only about 1.5%. You need to get lucky twice: first to find a Ditto disguised as another Pokémon, and then for that Ditto to be its shiny form.
