As a longtime fan of Mortal Kombat, I can’t help but feel nostalgic about the upcoming Animalities feature in MK1. Back in my day, we had to wait for hours at the arcade for our turn to transform into fearsome beasts and unleash havoc on our opponents. The anticipation was almost as thrilling as the gameplay itself!

Which animal does your favorite character turn into?

In a thrilling turn of events, Mortal Kombat 1 is reintroducing the cherished Animalities feature for the first time since Mortal Kombat: Trilogy, a gap of nearly three decades! These distinctive finisher moves showcase each character undergoing an animal transformation before delivering a creatively gruesome defeat to their foe. The short glimpses provided in the Khaos Reigns trailers have given us tantalizing hints about which warriors will metamorphose, and we’ve compiled a list of the transformations we’ve spotted so far.
