Characters in Fatal Fury: Gameplay

In Fatal Fury, each character’s gameplay trailer provides a comprehensive look at their abilities and match performance. These videos offer insights into what they can do on the battlefield, which can aid you in choosing whom to focus on training initially.

Rock Howard

Character Rock is fast-paced and full of surprises, known for his energetic rushes that allow him to swiftly advance towards opponents and initiate attacks. These rushes serve as a means to create openings in their defense. Furthermore, his agile movements and diverse attack range make him an excellent fit for combination play.

Terry Bogard: Fatal Fury characters

In Fatal Fury, Terry Bogard is a versatile character offering multiple strategies. While he may lack some agility and swiftness in attacks, this potential drawback could be offset by the impact of his blows. Essentially, Terry serves as a representative figure for the entire series, and the creators design him to be a character that’s easy for beginners to master, offering a good balance across various gameplay aspects.

B. Jenet

The character trailer unmistakably demonstrates that B. Jenet excels at retaliating against her adversaries. She boasts a variety of extended strikes and swift actions to capitalize on missed attacks and turn every opportunity into damage. In both ground and air combat, Fatal Fury’s B. Jenet is agile and nimble. Her strategy for confusing opponents appears strong.

Marco Rodrigues

Marco is quite formidable in combat, particularly when it comes to close quarters. His attack repertoire appears to be most potent at short distances. Although his mobility might not be his strongest suit, Marco Rodriguez seems to possess a few swift moves that can quickly counter opponents trying to approach him.

Preecha

In the Fatal Fury: City of Wolves series, there’s a fresh addition – a new female character. As for Preecha, this is their first appearance in a game. Though an official gameplay trailer has yet to be released, we’ve gotten a sneak peek of their moves in the initial promotional video. From what we can tell, Preecha seems to be a strategic character, capable of setting up advantageous situations against opponents and launching extended combos. They also appear to have an ability that freezes enemies mid-air, which could aid in these strategies.

Hotaru Futaba

It appears she’s quite versatile in the game, but it seems Hotaru might have some hidden talents. From what we see in the trailer, this character generates ghostly duplicates, boosting her speed during attacks and extending the length of combos for players. Historically, Hotaru has also been known to adopt various stances that alter her subsequent moves.

Vox Reaper

In the trailer, it’s clear that the length of attacks for Vox Reaper is displayed. He advances towards a far-off opponent and initiates his attack sequence. Simultaneously, the character showcases his ability to dish out harsh retribution, implying fast strikes with minimal startup frames. As a fresh addition to the roster, there’s much more to learn about Vox Reaper following its release.

Tizoc

Tizoc from Fatal Fury is a standard grappler, delivering slow but potent blows that can deal heavy damage. When opponents assume they’ve successfully blocked an attack, a strategic grab takes them by surprise. In terms of character style, Tizoc resembles both the TEKKEN and KOF versions of the kings, with a wrestler’s vibe reminiscent of royal dinosaurs.

Kevin Rian

1. Kevin’s move selection is well-balanced overall, but it could benefit from more long-range options. However, he excels in close-combat with some powerful grabs. Compared to Tizoc, these moves are somewhat understated. In the gameplay trailer for Kevin Rian, an intriguing feature stands out: ghostly duplicates, which can be incorporated into combo attacks.

Billy Kane

Billy uses a staff in combat, which significantly shapes his fighting technique. Long thrusts efficiently penalize opponents whether they’re on the ground or in mid-air. Furthermore, the staff allows him to draw adversaries nearer, expanding the range of possible attacks he can deliver.
