Miley Cyrus showed off the diamond engagement ring she received from her boyfriend of four years, Maxx Morando, on Monday night.

Morando, age 27, designed a stunning cushion-cut diamond ring in 14-karat yellow gold specifically for Cyrus, 33.

Jacquie Aiche is a Los Angeles-based jewelry designer. According to her website, she carefully chooses each gemstone for its individual beauty and positive energy, with the goal of creating pieces that make people feel empowered and safe.

The price seems to be in the $150,000 range, an expert has shared with Daily Mail. 

Miley Cyrus’s engagement ring features a modern twist on a traditional design. According to Olivia Landau, founder of The Clear Cut, the ring’s central diamond seems to be an elongated cushion cut, around 3 to 4 carats, with a slightly rectangular shape – approximately 1.3 times longer than it is wide.

According to Landau, the diamond is placed horizontally in a bold, yellow gold setting, giving it a slightly edgy, cool, and contemporary feel, though it still maintains a classic bridal aesthetic.

A ring like this with a natural center diamond would likely cost between $75,000 and $150,000.

Another jeweler believes the stone is a yellow diamond. 

Miley Cyrus’s engagement ring appears to have a 4- to 5-carat pale yellow cushion-cut diamond, set horizontally in a thick yellow gold band – a style that’s becoming very popular. According to Annie Chen, SVP of Merchandising at Brilliant Earth, similar rings, like the Haiden, East-West Peyton, and Adrian models they offer, would likely cost between $70,000 and $80,000.

The Grammy-winner flashed the ring at the Avatar premiere held at Hollywood’s iconic Dolby Theatre.

Cyrus attended because she wrote the song ‘Dream As One,’ which was featured in the James Cameron film.

The Daily Mail has reached out to Cyrus’s representatives for comment but has yet to hear back.

Miley Cyrus has been with Morando since 2021, after her divorce from Liam Hemsworth, whom she had a complicated relationship with for more than ten years.

Cyrus and Morando started dating after a blind date in late 2021, but they didn’t publicly confirm their relationship until 2022.

In a 2023 interview with British Vogue, the actress described their first date, explaining that it was a blind date for her, but not for her partner. She admitted she went into the date thinking, “At least I can always leave if it doesn’t go well.”

They don’t hit too many red carpets together.

In March, Miley Cyrus and her partner made their red carpet debut together at the 97th Academy Awards in Hollywood. They continued the celebration by attending the Vanity Fair Oscars Party later that night.

Just a month before, the two celebrities were also seen together at both the SNL 50th Anniversary celebration in New York City and a Homecoming Concert, accompanied by Miley Cyrus’s mother, Tish.

She’s playfully called herself a ‘cougar’ because her partner, Morando, is six years younger, but she emphasizes that she views their age difference as a good thing.

In a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Cyrus explained that she and her partner see the world in different ways, largely due to their upbringing with technology. She noted that he grew up with laptops, while she shared a single desktop computer with her siblings.

The singer described the other person as a lot like himself, saying they both prefer to live life with a relaxed attitude.

Miley Cyrus began dating Morando almost two years after her divorce from Liam Hemsworth was finalized in January 2020.
