Oh my gosh, it used to be SO amazing to see someone lose a ton of weight! Everyone would just heap praise on them for finally getting to the gym and sticking to a diet. After her mother, Maria, passed away in 2020, Ms. Hammond decided it was time to focus on her health and lose weight. Maria had been concerned about Ms. Hammond’s pre-diabetes diagnosis.

The presenter shared that she lost weight using a surprisingly simple diet: instead of eliminating foods, she just ate smaller portions of everything.

She usually begins her day with a traditional full English breakfast. When she’s working, she likes to have Caribbean food for lunch, and in the evening, she prefers a home-cooked meal like chicken fried rice.

She explains that her personality doesn’t change with her size. She feels she’s still the same person, regardless of whether she’s bigger or smaller, and that Alison remains Alison at any weight.
