Alison Hammond shows off her incredible 11-stone weight loss in a fitted dress after insisting she didn’t use Ozempic to slim down
As a lifestyle expert, I am truly inspired by Alison Hammond‘s transformative journey towards health and wellness. Her story is not just about weight loss, but a testament to her courage, resilience, and determination.
On Thursday, Alison Hammond flaunted her slimmer figure in a tailored mid-length dress while attending the press event for the Robin Hood pantomime at the London Palladium, showcasing her recent weight loss.
49-year-old host of This Morning appeared stunning while posing outside the venue, dressed in a leopard print dress featuring black panels highlighting her waistline.
She paired the outfit with a set of black and brown sneakers, adorned with golden hoop earrings as accessories.
In more recent times, Alison has disclosed details about her remarkable weight loss journey. She attributes her achievement primarily to eliminating sugary treats and high-fat meals from her diet, along with working out regularly under the guidance of a personal fitness instructor.
Instead of using weight-loss injections, she shared with Good Housekeeping UK her personal experience: “I believe these injections are beneficial for those who genuinely require them, but when it comes to me, I tend to be fearful whenever I hear any alarming news about them.
I’ve chosen not to utilize them yet, but I may do so in the future. Moreover, I have no disdain for those who choose to use them.

She added: ‘My mum had type 2 diabetes and she was worried for me, so when I then found out that I was pre-diabetic, that was frightening.
‘I thought: “I have to be an adult about this”. The sweets had to stop – and the fatty foods.
Two times a week, I meet with my fitness coach, and I also keep some weights at home for use. I engage in walking, stretching exercises, and on occasion, I incorporate some yoga into my routine.
During her physical change, the broadcaster chose to donate her former size 26 garments, which she sold this year for charity, as a tribute to her mom who sadly died from Liver Cancer in 2020.
As a devoted follower, I’ve always admired this star for her honesty about her weight journey. In the past, she openly shared feelings of embarrassment when tipping the scales at over 20 stone. However, in 2019, she made a bold decision to prioritize her health and joined Weight Watchers, a step that truly inspires me.
Alison openly acknowledges that she faces daily bullying regarding her body size, yet she resolutely chooses not to change herself to please others. Instead, she embraces the concept of occupying a bit more room in this world than usual.
In a conversation with Lorraine Kelly and her daughter Rosie Smith on the What If? podcast, Alison expressed her intention to eat more healthily in an attempt to alleviate her knee pain. However, she also mentioned that we all are destined to pass away eventually.
In their open conversation, she pledged to embrace life completely and assured it would be a truly fulfilling one.

Alison, known for her cheerful nature, expressed her desire to focus on her health and personal wellness, even with her busy, mobile lifestyle.
She expressed: ‘My goal is for my journey to inspire people to consider modifications to their lifestyles, aiming to help them reach their optimal selves.’
In 2023, Alison took over from Matt Lucas as a co-host for The Great British Bake Off. Prior to this, she shared that she implemented a firm policy regarding cake sampling due to putting on a pound during the shooting process.
Originally, I jumped at the chance to be on that show just for the promise of delicious desserts – little did I know I’d need self-control! Now, I find myself grappling with the temptation of those mouthwatering treats.
Alison has chosen to restrict her baking samples to the works of winners and those pastries that receive Paul Hollywood’s signature handshake as a mark of approval.
She told the Off Menu podcast: ‘I just started filming Bake Off. I’ve never seen the tent so cold. It was freezing, absolutely freezing. I had my thermals on underneath my dress.
‘But I love that show for the cake. People don’t realise I am literally there for the cake. After every bake you’re allowed to taste every bake and last year I put on a stone.
‘It’s taken me a year to take that stone off.
‘So now I’m only eating if they get a handshake or the winner of a section. But anything else sorry, I’m not going there. As soon as it goes in my mouth I swallow it – I love it.’
