Alison Hammond breaks silence on her This Morning replacement
Ali Hammond recently posted about her current health situation, which required her to temporarily step away from hosting duties on the show This Morning.
Every Friday, she co-hosts the ITV show with Dermot O’Leary, but she missed this week’s broadcast because of her hay fever. In her place, they brought in Lisa Snowdon, a former model and television host.
Dermot mentioned on the show that Alison isn’t feeling well today; she claims it’s seasonal allergies, but he suspects it might be something more severe, like the flu.

Lisa stated, “She appears quite unwell, both in sound and appearance, suggesting she could use some rest. It seems she has experienced a severe allergic reaction, making her look and feel awful. I hope she recovers quickly.
During these past few days, Alison has been struggling with severe hay fever and used social media to share this with her followers, providing an explanation for her absence.
Something has caught me off guard, and it feels as strong as a bus crash. That’s why I wanted to inform everyone that I won’t be on This Morning today.
She mentioned that “charming Lisa Snowdon” will take over for her on the program, and she will be taking care of “my cherished Dermot.
Alison informed her followers that she’d return on ‘This Morning’ the following week, reassuring them that she was doing well and getting appropriate care and medical attention for her symptoms.
Instead of saying “She shared her plethora of medication,” you could say “She provided a variety of medications like hay fever tablets, nasal sprays, eye drops, vitamins, and tissues, along with her electric robot vacuum to aid in cleaning the house.
“I am fine, I’ll see you next week! Love you lots. Sorry I am not there today,” she concluded.
